Very disappointed. Took our 2019 Chevy Traverse because the "Shift to Park" error code was coming up intermittingly and causing us not to trust the car. It is a well known problem, prompting GM to issue a service bulletin and even issue a part specially designed to elevate the issue. After having our car all day, we were called to pick it up and told that the problem couldn't be duplicated hence they could do nothing about it. It was an "intermittent" problem by definition and definitely real. The internet is filled with complaints about it and there is even a site promoting a law suit and calling for a recall. After reading the details, I purchased the part myself and put the GM part that fixes the problem into the car myself in under a half hour. My major compliant is that Serra could have done it and I would have paid for the part and labor. Again, very disappointing. Our experiences when Marsh owned the dealership were very different. This is our fourth Traverse and love the vehicle itself but are looking at replacing the car with a 'non' GM product. More
Had body work done. went to pickup and backup camera wouldn’t shut off. I sat for 2 hrs while they tried to figure it out. We scheduled our appointment two weeks in advance so we could make sure we told our clients we were limited that day. We dropped it off at 8 am and expressed we needed it back by the end of the day. At 3:45 pm we called to see the progress, only to be told it hasn’t been looked at and they’ll get to it tomorrow. We went back and picked it up without service being provided. There were people we couldn’t take to addiction treatment services because our vehicle was sitting at Bill Marsh GMC all day. It’s not fair of me to have high expectations but a call to switch days or even say “we don’t want to look at it” or “we don’t know how” would have saved a lot of valuable time. Very disappointed.
