The issue with your vehicle was related to aftermarket headlight bulbs from AutoZone not the socket. David Maus Toyota does not provide warranties for products purchased at other stores. We are confused and request clarification on a couple of other issues you reported: - $1500 service check up > the only 60,000 mile check up we offer is $550. - our service management chain is as follows - Mike Gutcheon, Roxanne Jones, and Steve Rivette. David Maus Toyota replaced your headlight bulbs for you even though they were AutoZone bulbs. Please review this email and please let us know of any discrepancies. You have it so incredibly wrong it amazes me and further shows the incredible breakdown in communication between your so called managers and actual managers. Why don't you take a moment to speak to Steve Rivette. I explained the entire days events to him to which he was simply shocked and offered an apology. Please take a moment to speak with your staff before requesting that I revise my statement to say your service dept goes above and beyond. At this time that statement in purely insulting. Greetings Mr. Finn, First of all thank you for your review. I am thanking you because if these issues are founded I can assure you that this is not the practice of David Maus Toyota. If we made these errors- we need to correct them immediately. I took the liberty of investigating each issue listed in your review. Let me breakdown the issues listed above: #1- We currently have the front seats wrapped in plastic to prevent potential stains. The technicians are not permitted to eat of drive in customer vehicles. David Maus Toyota fully detailed your vehicle at no cost to you as a result of the issue. ISSUE RESOLVED #2- I can not find the details and notes of a delay in sending out the payment. However, I confirmed that you received full payment. ISSUE RESOLVED #3- We performed a full detail on your vehicle and you returned 8 months later to report an issue with the detail. After eight months it was challenging for us to determine the cause of the issue you reported. Please confirm that these facts are accurate. Thanks in advance for your reply.

Thank you for your fast reply. Issue #1 80% engine compartmet 20% interior,I understand it was a major repair and as I stated before your rep completely agreed when he saw the condition the car was delivered to us. Yes the issue was resolved,but not without future reservations. Issue #2 The main problem was your Advisor 2796 Samantha Ozgen who would not return our phone calls or return our messages this went on for 2-3 weeks, were really put off after she asked us if we would give her a good review, this is something that is earned not asked for. I finally had to drive to your facility and explain the problem to Mr.Marion, the problem was addressed promply and very professionally. Issue #3 I understand after 8 mo. you find this "challenging" time has to be factored in with the clear coat gone it apparently took several months for the base coat to noticeably deteriorate. There is no problem anywhere else on the car where the paint and the clear coat is to spec on the hood and trunk at 6.0 mil and the roor at 3.8 where the problem is. I also read another review where another customer has the same problem. The Rep was very polite but when I explained the problem stating that the car was detailed buy you and his next words were "we only washed it" when I pointed out the detailing on the bill he next said the car was 14 years old with 171k miles. The age is not the issue I also have a 1984 Porsche that looks like the day I drove it off the showroom floor, If someone compounded the clear coat off the roof I would have probably have the same problem. This Camry is not the stock model, it is a collectors edition there were only 1500 made, an LE with all options that was run down the Lexus line with the lexus paint and interior, basically an ES300 w/ gold toyota trim,it is a very nice car in excellent condition,which my wife loves. He stated that he wanted a happy customer and offered to have the car painted at a discount which I stated that was unaccepable after that I stated that I had talked to an attorney and will take legal action. I am not some scam artist trying to get over on someone to get a free paint job I truley believe this problem was caused buy your tech and I expected more than excuses and dissing the car.I eagerly await your responce.
