After showing my trade, negotiations went on over a few days, until the salesman texted a price out the door. I called and confirmed the number, texted the VIN # of the 4runner to be sure before I cut the check and grabbed the title to drive out there, when the salesman backtracked on the number, and not by a little. It was a $ 4000 difference that he texted back. Not buying the car was no big deal, what I was disgusted by was the salesman confirming a number(over several texts and a phone call) and than backing out. Almost like a bait and switch, where they were going to set me up. Totally bizarre, terrible business practice. I have never had a dealership offer up a number in a very simple transaction and back out in the way David Maus Toyota did. UPDATE: Boodman did followup and was apologetic, essentially explaining the number he came up with was what he would take to "managers" to see if they would agree to it, and that it was never a firm offer. Regardless, I gave multiple opportunities for David Maus to resolve it afterwards, and they failed to meet the better offers received from Phillips Toyota in Leesburg. Phillips Toyota in Leesburg, Jonathan Harrica/Mikey Kuhn specifically, were awesome, gave great service and a much better negotiating experience than what I received at David Maus. Glad I bought from Phillips, great price and great service. Well worth the extra drive from Orlando. More

Great Sales Team -- Finance Office so so Purchased new 2016 Toyota Camry from David Maus Toyota - Sales person Mark Dalton was great through out the process, no hard sale pressure from him or Purchased new 2016 Toyota Camry from David Maus Toyota - Sales person Mark Dalton was great through out the process, no hard sale pressure from him or sales management team, can not say the same once me & my wife were handed off to finance office, as with any big ticket purchase but especially a car you need to review all paper work before you sign, as I found errors with final sales price that was agreed to, but a quick call to my sales rep. Mark Dalton error was corrected, next comes the really hard sell to purchase GAP insurance, & wear and tear warrantee with quoted prices changing down when my answer is no thanks and after three or four no thank you, I finally asked him stop and just print my finance papers so we could sign and complete the process. We than went to expect our new vehicle, I was not satisfied with the detail that was done to our vehicle as it seemed like just a quick wash & tire shine was done and the paint on most of the vehicles body was not as clean as it should be, again my sales rep. Mark come to the rescue & made an appointment for me to bring the vehicle back in for a complete detail. Overall great sales team, but be aware of what GAP insurance and wear/tear warrantee is or you might be pressured to purchase something that has a high commission and is something you might not really need ! More
