Mike, thank you for sharing your experience. Other than taxes and registration we only have one fee off $899.50 which is our dealer fee and is disclosed on every purchase. Your negative equity could stem from multiple factors. High interest rate due to previous or current credit situation, prior negative equity from trade in, and most importantly New/Used car market conditions. Along with new manufacturer incentives. Talked to Mr. Bunte and he did nothing and said “ they just put my name there as a point of contact.” Just giving me the run around. The car sticker was 32 and a month later my bill in the mail is 42?! I have excellent credit and have for over a decade. My interest rate is 7%, which isn’t the best but it’s current economics of our country so I understand that part. Also, Back your claim up about “negative equity.” At the time My trade-in matched the cars current market value. I’m highly upset and when I tried to change cars the other day through another dealership they tell me the car is 27,000, which makes sense because that’s what it’s worth. Not 37,000. This is how Toyota Seminole does disabled veterans huh?

Cassandra, Thank you for sharing your experience. After further investigation, we have no records of your phone call to this "Representative" you may have spoken to. You purchased an extended warranty, that warranty could have covered the majority of the work needed. You were provided copies of the warranty you purchased on the day of delivery. If you reviewed your warranty info, this situation may have never happened. We requested you and your husband to bring the car to us for further inspection. Unfortunately you declined that option. All of our vehicles go through a thorough inspection before being sold. Our vehicles are safe. Since the purchase was over 6 months ago, who knows what has happened since we sold it. To this date, we have yet to see the vehicle to help you out.
