We would like to apologize for not informing you about the repair done on your vehicle for the recall. We recently discovered that certain 2010-2017 model year GMC Terrain vehicles fail to conform to Federal/Canada Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) 108. To address this issue, we installed headlamp appliques on your vehicle. Hi Gus Cantu jr, The headlamp design allows a narrow beam of light from the lower beam lamp to reflect off of the inner surface of the high beam reflector, which may cause glare or be distracting to other drivers, increasing the risk of a crash. The headlamp applique, which is a film that goes on the headlamp assembly, will address this issue and prevent such incidents from happening.
