Dreadful experience, beware of the sales team. Roland in Parts/Service appears to be the only staff member that has any customer satisfaction trait. Please get everything before you drive off the lot - cal Parts/Service appears to be the only staff member that has any customer satisfaction trait. Please get everything before you drive off the lot - calls to Diego and the Sales Manager go unanswered. When the tags were picked up at the dealership the items that were to be ordered for installation (floor mats, running boards, and tint windows) were not even communicated to the service/parts team. Six weeks later, still not ordered. Extremely pleased with vehicle, but should have bought from another dealer. Yes, we are all busy these days - I looked for a silver lining with the experience, Thank You, Roland. More
I’ve never ever had this bad of a experience at a dealership. They screwed me on my first deal back in March. Then yesterday I had spent 5 hours in this horrible dealership. All because they were gon dealership. They screwed me on my first deal back in March. Then yesterday I had spent 5 hours in this horrible dealership. All because they were gonna make it right, and they ran my credit. They were gonna find me a better apr just to find out they sold my car I was trying to get. More
Seguin Chevrolet is no doubt the most F***ed up dealership I’ve ever been to in my life, and I’m 55. I’ve had dozens of cars during my lifetime. I traded in my car back on May 20, 2021. I had a s dealership I’ve ever been to in my life, and I’m 55. I’ve had dozens of cars during my lifetime. I traded in my car back on May 20, 2021. I had a signed contract and all with GM Financial as the lender. I got sporadic texts/emails saying that they now needed a copy of my latest paycheck stub so it can “get financed”. I did that multiple times and always to a different person/number. Over 2 months after I signed the contract, I got another email from the finance director “Shawn Dunn” saying that I needed to call them about the financing. I called and said what do y’all need now? He said that GM had called my employer and was told I no longer worked there. I replied that I had gotten a new job bc the one wasn’t cutting it. Shawn then in turn told me that according to the back of my contract it states that I have to be employed for at least 2 months with the same employer to get financed. That is totally “BS”, and the contract doesn’t even specify anything about employment. I told him that I would bring back the car and that I WANTED my trade back and my $2,000 down payment. Shawn told me that they (Seguin Chevy) would report the car “stolen” (that I had a signed contract for). So, during the previous 2 months, not only did Seguin sell my trade (they didn’t even have the title), they NEVER paid off the loan!!! I was being called multiple times a day by the lender bc I wasn’t making the payments (Bc I didn’t have the vehicle). The lender wasn’t taken my word of course. Even tho I explained the situation to them. The last time I talked to the lender they told me that they were going to put in a “Repo order” and get it picked up. When I contacted Shawn and asked if my trade was on the lot before I drive all the way there. He replied “we don’t have your trade anymore” That I could bring back the car and then I can make arrangements for transportation home. So, not only would I NOT have my car, I wouldn’t have my trade back either. And Shawn expected me to make payments on a traded in vehicle that I didn’t even have. I told him that I was going to get a lawyer and he replied that “the law is on our side, no lawyer is going to help you”! I sent him my latest paycheck stub and a letterhead from the payroll department at my new/current employer and “Low and behold” I was financed like that. And received a letter from GM Financial about the new car. With that being said, my old lender put it on my credit report that I was late (60+ days) and as a delinquent loan. I got back with Shawn about them calling my lender and explaining the situation to them and get it off my credit report, since Seguin Chevy had my trade in their possession. He replied “we’re not a creditor, so they won’t listen to us” You will have to contact them yourself, which I already had, with no luck. Seguin Chevrolet is no doubt the most crooked, dishonest and F***ed up dealership!!!!! And it’s owned by a military veteran, which I am also a veteran of 20 yrs service. I will NEVER go back to Seguin Chevy for ANYTHING, not even the free oil change. I’m telling everyone that I can about the bad business practices there and that they shouldn’t even consider them. DO NOT GO THERE. RUN AWAY ***** I can’t give less than 1 star, they should be a NEGATIVE rating ***** More

I will not get into details of our experience on what it took to cancel our extended warranty and GAP insurance. But will caution against the convincing extended warranty, GAP insurance and Auto Paint Prote took to cancel our extended warranty and GAP insurance. But will caution against the convincing extended warranty, GAP insurance and Auto Paint Protection...it's a $2400 car wash. The edging they used you can get on Amazon for less than $10.00 a set (door edging and 4 door handles)...and the small but still dollar amount of $120 + Dealer Inventory Tax (this tax is not required to be imposed on the consumer, negotiable, but not a requirement by the state of Texas). Its been awhile since we bought a vehicle. We went to Seguin because the vehicle we were interested in was 53 miles away and we didn't feel comfortable with the sales pitches in our local area. We figured we'd give the trip a shot. (Alex's Flores, Principle of Seguin Chevrolet commercial advertises "Drive a little, save a lot"). It has been everything but that. I am a military veteran but I did not qualify for a military discount? Huh? The only discount we got was the manufacture discount. "How about a dealership discount?" I asked. Sales associate, "Sorry, this is a brand new vehicle new to the market. It doesn't come with no other incentives". Well folks, I could have walked away. But...I wanted the vehicle and accepted my wife's suggestion, "We drove this far...." Dealership drawn Extended Warranties are nearly $4000 with interest times years on the loan....I plan on going with an old extended warranty company that has done me justice in the past, Endurance. I'll wait til I'm near expiration of my manufacture warranty. GAP insurance, that's a tough one. $1500 at dealership plus interest time years of the loan. I used my USAA Car Replacement Assistance (CRA) serves the same product as a dealerships GAP. I understand some consumer's don't have that option, but research your options with your current auto insurance carrier or elsewhere. Price with USAA $1100, can be paid monthly. Paint Protection....buy your own kit, PJ's in San Antonio does quality work for Paint Protection but be prepared to leave your car for a day for the product to cure. Seguin Chevrolet's Paint Protection was finished before our food came to the table at a nearby restaurant...less than 2 hours. I did question what products were used. Service department said, "Edging on doors and protective film on handles, scotch guard the carpeted areas and sprayed a chemical on the paint." I asked, "What kind of chemical?". "oh, some chemical product to protect the paint?" WHATTT. Well, I have every reason to doubt such services were provided. Here we were thinking we would perhaps spend the night somewhere nearby to pick up our vehicle to make sure quality of work wasn't rushed...but it was ready before we finished looking at the menu. I plan to share this experience in most commonly read reviews. We really thought Seguin was a little different, what made it good was the Sales pitch. xxxxxxthere, but after reading this. Hope your sleep is disturbed at night, that you shafted a military veteran and his family. Please don't express your appreciation for our military service when all your intentions are to beef up your pocket. When it should be quite the opposite. We sacrificed ourselves and some families lost there loved ones in a tour of duty. I wouldn't be surprised if cars have been sold to those survivors in the same manner. You should have advocated every dollar savings rather than push for products you know darn well are not in the best interest of those who served to protect you. General Manager, no need to try and reach me, I tried reaching you since April 6, 2021. I guess you only reach customers once a negative post is entered. More
Had a wonderful experience with our Sales Rep, Rosendo Reyes. He took care of me as soon as I told him my truck broke down. Next day, he gave me a ride to Seguin Chevrolet and I drove off in a beautiful 2 Reyes. He took care of me as soon as I told him my truck broke down.
