I needed a new car due to my old car having transmission problems. I did not qualify for a new car so unfortunately had to buy a used car. The car had minor issues upon buying. In which they promised to fix problems. I did not qualify for a new car so unfortunately had to buy a used car. The car had minor issues upon buying. In which they promised to fix before we took it home, like rear defrost not hooked up, seat mechanism not working properly. After having it a couple of months the alternator went out, the computer mechanism for dashboard and air bag went out. Everytime I brought it back with my extended warranty it was supposedly fixed. Every issue we had with the car was broughten back twice or more just to fix the one problem it came in for. Customer service does not call you to give you an up to date with the car. They do not let you know it will cost X amount of dollars to fix and find out if customer would like to continue with work, they just do the work and add whatever to the bill. I feel that the people working for Don Seelye Ford are incompetant as can be. If you have alternative...do not buy from this dealership. More
Just left this dealership with a very bad taste. I called Jeremy about a blue '08 G37. I specifically asked over the phone if this car had any dings, dents, etc. and he said the car has no such damage and th Jeremy about a blue '08 G37. I specifically asked over the phone if this car had any dings, dents, etc. and he said the car has no such damage and that it's clean. Taking his word, I drove 2.5 hrs from Chicago only to find the car RIDDLED with dings, dents, and scratches. One of the dents was so bad that the paint was chipping away and all rusted. I asked Jeremy why he didn't mention this to me over the phone and he said, "I swear to god I did not see this until this morning." After apologizing several times he said, "My manager said to not say anything about the damage and have them look at it when they get here" I felt so disgusted having spent so much time and money traveling only to be lied to right to my face. We offered a very reasonable price, they accepted the offer only to give me a ridiculously unfair trade-in value for my current car (to make up for their "loss" on the G37). Complete liars and everybody was in on the scheme including the managers. 1-star for them at least giving me a gas card so I can fill up my tank to drive back to Chicago. More
HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!! I'm sure once Ryan reads HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!! I'm sure once Ryan reads or hears about this he will remember me quite fondly!! I went to Don Seelye Ford because they HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!! I'm sure once Ryan reads or hears about this he will remember me quite fondly!! I went to Don Seelye Ford because they seemed to have nice cars and the "yes we can" slogan so I was sure I would find what I was looking for. I already was driving a Saturn that was giving me numerous of problems so the last thing I wanted was another Saturn I told Ryan that from the beginning and yet what did he find me? A Saturn. He was very aggressive about the sell he kept saying that since it was a newer Saturn that the car wouldn't give me the same problems. So I tried the newer Saturn out over the weekend and decided I would get it. returned the car back to the dealership that Monday and decided by wednesday I wanted the car so i went in ready to sign the paperwork and take the car. Ryan had all sorts of excuses first he changed the price on the car, then he said I had to trade in the Saturn I owned that was being valued for $400 or so. Eventually I agreed so Ryan went to get the new Saturn and get it cleaned and ready for me to take home but instead he pull a act and says he can't find the keys to the car! Instead of making the effort to find the keys to the car Ryan leaves for lunch and heads to buffalo wild wings across the street an leave me and my father in his little cubicle talking to one of his co workers about his life! There was never any effort to find the keys and Ryan was gone for over 30 minutes! We left and decided not to get the car! That same week I went to COLE KRUM and found the exact car I wanted at an even better price I did not trade in my Saturn and I drove my car home the SAME day and I LOVE my car!! Oh and p.s Ryan you kept showing me your little Kia my car is way better than yours haha!! Don Seelye ford is a horrible dealership I would never recommend them to anyone!! COLE KRUM is the best place to get a vehicle at a good price!!! More
We bought 2 vehicles off of Steve Leep within 3 weeks time, the last one he delivered to us in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania. When his driver was about 2 hours out from leaving with our trade we realized th time, the last one he delivered to us in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania. When his driver was about 2 hours out from leaving with our trade we realized that my fiancée had left her sunglasses in the car ($180 ray bans). I texted Mr Leep about it and he said he would grab them when the car got back and send them out to us. He then confirmed later that he had the glasses on his desk. My fiancee was beyond excited that she would get her glasses back. A week went by and when I questioned the status he said that someone had stolen to glasses from his desk and he was going to cut us a check to make up for it, she was heartbroken. We initially resisted and offered to split the difference but he insisted on paying for them in full, my fiancée was so happy that we would be able to replace her glasses. He told us the check would be in our registration packet. When the registration packet came there was no check. When I questioned Steve about it he said he didn't know why it wasn't there and would find out where it is. Steve has been unresponsive to me asking where the check is for the past 6 months now. Steve is a liar who was quite responsive while I purchased 2 vehicles from him but now can't be bothered to even apologize for breaking my fiancées heart over these glasses. More

I have purchased my last 3 vehicles from Seeyle as I have always tried to be loyal to Ford and deal locally. As with many car lots, the "used car salesman" terminology is very fitting. Last vehicle was pur always tried to be loyal to Ford and deal locally. As with many car lots, the "used car salesman" terminology is very fitting. Last vehicle was purchased an taken in multiple times for shifting hard, sticking in gear, etc.. Each and every time was told vehicle was low on transmission fluid with zero explanation why. I returned to the dealership the last week inside my extended warranty (That I was charged $2000 for) to be given the same "low on fluid" & "not leaking" explanation argued with the service manager profusely that it was more than that. Within 3 weeks of warranty expiring, I took the vehicle to another shop, re-ran the DTC's on it and sure enough the transmission needs to be replaced. The only solution Seeyle's were willing to provide is a $4500 estimate to replace the transmission. Spent countless hours <as they would not assist me> researching my rights, etc.., basically reading the contracts and confirmed that had this had been called in on my final visit and properly diagnosed, the entire transmission would have been covered by the warranty. Instead of "Yes we Can!", they need to change their motto to "No We Won't" because they won't diagnose properly, they won't return calls, they won't provide a logical explanation of where this fluid went to, and they won't accept any sort of responsiblity whatsoever. Stay Away! More
We went in with the intention of test driving a car we saw online. After talking with the salesman about what we wanted he graciously let us test drive what we were looking at. After the test drive we wer saw online. After talking with the salesman about what we wanted he graciously let us test drive what we were looking at. After the test drive we weren't happy with the vehicle so he recommended another vehicle and we test drove that. We actually liked the vehicle but were running short on time so they allowed us to take it over the weekend. So far so good... During the extended test drive we found out it was too small. So on Monday we went in and told the salesman that it was a no go. This is where things started to go south. We gave our salesman certain criteria while brainstorming to find a vehicle that would fit our needs. All of a sudden another salesman told us that he was going to help out our salesman. Bad idea. He pulled up a vehicle we said we weren't willing to look at and the argued with us in 25 degree temperatures outside why we were wrong and he was right about this vehicle. Did I mention we have our 3 month old and 4 year old with us and he pulled up the cold vehicle and then proceeded to open all the doors to show us the features? Who does that to people with kids? Anyway after going around and around with the new salesman we had had enough and left. They lost the sale and we will never go back. More

Rude from the beginning; lied about my ability to order a new car; tried to force me into a car on their lot (a Focus), not what I want (a Fiesta); they almost acted like they did not care if I brought a car new car; tried to force me into a car on their lot (a Focus), not what I want (a Fiesta); they almost acted like they did not care if I brought a car or not. Finally, they did not seem interested in dealing with me because I was using a Z plan. Luckily, I found the car I wanted at a nearby dealership and brought it using my Z plan. More
