After I inquire 23 minutes ago I am a very pleased customer of Seelye Auto Group of Kalamazoo. The principal reason for this is Meghan Edwards. After I inquired about a vehicle via the Edmonds site, Thursday evening, I promptly received a follow up email from Meghan the next day. I had already picked up a car from a competing car dealership the night before and had driven it home for evaluation, which I explained to her. I also expressed that I was not able to come for a test drive in Kalamazoo that day due to my schedule. Undaunted, she offered to drive-up a similarly equipped vehicle, of the same year and similar mileage, but was lower priced than your competitor in another city. Additionally, she offered to provide a trade-in amount that was $500 greater than I had been offered for my truck, sight unseen. Seeing how quickly the Seelye team moved, I agreed. In short order, Len Shumate pulled together the financing through my bank, and Meghan was able to bring the entire package to me, accompanied by Andrew. What impressed me was that Meghan found a way to deal with every obstacle for me, in order to sell and deliver a car, the same day, in a different city! She was focused, polite, communicated well, and was able to rally the resources and information needed for the trade-in, financing, and sale. She was even willing to drive and meet me to make the exchange after hours. I was sold by a lot more than a vehicle and a price. I was sold by encountering a team who all cared and were responsive. I bought that vehicle that evening. I understand that it took their organization to pull this off in less than a day: Meghan, Bryan, Len, Andrew, the detailers, and likely others. The Seelye culture, especially exemplified by the Kalamazoo team, appears to be one of service with excellence. Thank you for a super vehicle, a great experience, and exemplary service. I was Amazed I walked in and was immediately greeted by Kyle Shirley. We sat down and talked about what I needed and what I do and how much driving I do (a lot). I was expecting an OK used car but Kyle and the team really worked hard and after looking at some really nice used cars, they wound up getting me into a brand new 2020 EcoSport 4WD. The process took a xxxx of a long time while they fought with the banks so Kyle even took me to lunch. They're even giving me extra time to get personal stuff out of my old car. What an awesome crew!
