Recall of F-150 Transmission. Took my 2011 F-150 in for a transmission recall. At first they were not sure if they could do the recall. Then I was told they could. Two days later I experienced a problem when I put the truck into drive and it would not move. I put it back into park and then into drive again and it finally moved. I have not experienced it again. John Beck Service advisor made things right We brought our Explorer in for leaking oil, but service said they couldn't locate anything and sent us home. A few weeks later the vehicle was leaking We brought our Explorer in for leaking oil, but service said they couldn't locate anything and sent us home. A few weeks later the vehicle was leaking again and in greater amount. We were frustrated, but after sending a text to our service advisor, John Beck, he acted swiftly and had us come back in. Upon further inspection they were able to discover the issue - a failing PTU - which was covered under our MaxCare warranty. John took care of everything. He gave a comparable loaner car - even before our warranty approved it. This is extremely helpful as we are a one-car family. We are so pleased by John helping us and will feel much better about using Penske for our service needs in the future. More

First you tore down a beautiful old showroom and office and replaced it with a bland non functional one ( that’s ugly) your management is impersonal , and buying cars there is a pain in the xxx. F and I department buried in a tiny office in the second floor, so many rules and regulations your poor sales people need a directory . It should be fun to buy a new or used car, not at Penske Ford in La Mesa. The sales person was helpful and friendly, and hendered by a monolithic system. In other words , it takes to long!!! I worked for a Ford dealership many years ago, wow, you have changed and screwed it up really good. I’ve sent dozens of customers to Drew Ford over the years, can’t say that anymore🙁 More
