When I made this appointment, I asked if I'd be provided with this again and told yes. I looked forward to this so I could see about a potential upgrade/purchase. When I got to secor, I was told enterprise would pick me up. We waited for enterprise and then had to wait at enterprise since they didn't have any available staff to assist. I had a doctors appointment to get to 30min from my original drop off time and was almost late since I was not aware of this extra process. The enterprise car stunk like cigarettes and did not appear to have been cleaned, but I had to get to my apt ASAP. Nick had waived the cost of the renter car for the 2 days, but a bit of a heads up would have been helpful. Also, I'm not sure if enterprise is the best renter near by-upon returning the car I had to wait again for 40 min since they had a customer swearing, yelling, and overtly dissatisfied with his experience since he was not informed on charges and thought he'd be overcharged; mean while the other worker was telling another lady she had thousands of dollars worth of damage in which the other worker looked within minutes to find this was an old claim. When finalizing my paperwork, they informed me that it looks like I drove 4500 miles (I drove a max of maybe 20?). Also, I spent about $70,000 for my SUV, why should I already need brakes at 20,000 miles? More

My car is returned when promised, washed if the weather permits, and the interior has been vacuumed. The free ride home allows me to do what I need to do without worry while I wait for the completion call. More

Coordination between departments could be improved Car was in for collision repair and I also needed a replacement key. Spoke to both collision center and service department that morning before coming in the afternoon. There was a fairly short wait at collision center, then when I went to get the key Mackenzie said she wasn't notified that my car was ready so needed time to program the key resulting in 35 minute wait. I had also hoped to set up On Call service (apparently the dealership now needs to be involved?) but the sales department was unexpectedly short-staffed and Steve couldn't manage it. I don't live close to Secor and hoped to avoid a separate trip but I do understand and sympathize with the situation. More

The team is highly professional and exceptionally good at what they do. Safety on the road has to be highest priority, and the Secor team consistently reaches those high standards. Trust, Expertise and Integrity This past week, we returned to Secor for our annual service on our 2018 S90. This is our 8th car from Secor and continues A 28+ year relationship wit This past week, we returned to Secor for our annual service on our 2018 S90. This is our 8th car from Secor and continues A 28+ year relationship with the dealership. We drive 70 miles one way, past three other Volvo dealers, to do business with them. I'm not disparaging the other franchises, but we have had ample evidence of the personal and professional quality and friendship of the staff. When we turned in our S80 last summer for final inspection and return to Volvo Leasing, Eric and/or his staff uncovered a serious defect in one of our tires. Rather than sell us a new one on a car we were about to give up, they replaced the tire with a respectable used tire, at no additional charge. This visit, everything was fine with our new car, but our best Navy friends, who were meeting us for lunch, drove up with their Acura SUV, and then couldn't get it started on a very hot day. Bob Doyle correctly deduced that it was the battery. He very kindly loaned us his brand new XC90 so we could enjoy our time together. We have been trying to get our friends into a Volvo for several years. Their problem was solved on our return, at the fair cost of a new battery. We believe in preventive maintenance and invariably go along with Secor's advice. For many years, while my wife and I were working, Secor met us half way, driving up to Hartford with a loaner; they even offered to pick up our car at our place of work, but we thought that was too much. Many folks are uncomfortable with the staff of their car dealership. All the folks we have dealt with over the years, including the owner, are people we would be happy to break bread with. The dealership is neither too big or too small. They know what they are doing and value and protect their customers. More
