I bough my first car at 56 I am recently divorced. My ex wife delt with all the business of cars, deals etc. Yes I was fortunate. I needed a practical/winter dependable car. I am recently divorced. My good friend, Kelly, who happens to be a stellar mechanic at Secor and was our mechanic with our 740 turbo back in the 80s, called me and recommended I come look at this V60 XC in the lot. I did. He took me for 2 test rides. I loved the car. Then I had to deal with the sales people. I begged Kelly to sell me the car. He of course could not. I hence met Erica reluctantly. However, I was acknowledged and respected from the start. My sales experience was very pleasant and w/o stress other than the obvious commitment to a monthly car payment. Erica was knowledgable, polite, friendly, non-confrontational and uber helpful. She acknowledged any and all concerns, answered all my questions and followed me all through the delivery process. She spent over an hour in the car with me upon delivery making sure I was comfortable with the technology of such an advanced vehicle. Even helped me connect with the Volvo app and the emergency support function. I told her I have AAA but she insisted on sharing with me the support available. I appreciate that. Above and beyond, Erica also helped secure my protective hood film and my Simonize treatment. I also meet Charlie Secor, the owner, who was very welcoming and helpful. I am very grateful and relieved the process was so smooth. I do not take that for granted.
