Disappointed it was forgotten or never mentioned to detail employees as I would rather have the dealership remove this then attempting myself. More

I have expressed my concern when the oil light has illuminated (several times over the past 5 years) and this is the first time anyone at the service center actually explained this to me! I was extremely happy when I was scheduled ASAP on the Monday I called; I was a bit frustrated when shuttle service was offered, but the service provider was off that day (I would have brought my laptop if I knew I had to wait). The service advisor Jay took the time to explain to me the drive- This was the first time I have my new car serviced at Secor and I am very satisfied. The service advisor Jay took the time to explain to me the drive-up check-in process and then walked me to the waiting lounge to get me oriented. I was pleasantly surprised that my car was washed and vacuumed inside and it looked like a new car again after 8 months. Thank you and keep up the good work. More

Very bad experience I've been going to Secor Subaru in New London the last 10 years bought both my vehicles there, and I've always felt they knew the car as well, and wen I've been going to Secor Subaru in New London the last 10 years bought both my vehicles there, and I've always felt they knew the car as well, and went over everything with a fine-tooth comb. I've noticed over the last year that they've lost a lot of their employees. I talked to one ex-employer a year ago that said the whole service department is going to xxxx. Thinking maybe he just had a little anger I didn't really take his words of advice. When I went there the last time just to have them check the brakes cuz there was a squeaking noise going on whenever we would pull out of the driveway. I knew the brakes still had we're on them I was just making sure it wasn't a caliper is something that could be dangerous. When the woman called me with the estimate she said it's not your brakes they're fine they still have half the wear. Then she said the bearings on one of the wheels were gone, which I found strange because I've never had bearings wear out on a car that's only 3 years old with low miles. I asked her how much it would be to replace the bearings she said well it's going to be a lot cheaper than it would be to replace your brakes. I said well what's the estimate she said it's probably going to be half the price of the brakes. I said that's your estimate half the price of the brakes? So that I don't have the estimate with me, I said let me talk to the mechanic after 10 minutes of waiting for the mechanic suddenly the phone just hung up. By now I'm getting very frustrated so I called the manager and service who is very defensive right off the bat, saying he didn't have the estimate either but he was going to get it and call me right back. Then he didn't call me back so after 35 minutes I just jumped in the car and drove down there. When I went in there the girl that I spoke to you on the phone said let me show you the picture of the ware your brakes. I said I don't need to see the picture I know the brakes are still 50% I'm not doubting the fact the brakes still work I'm just concerned Why you would need to replace the bearings. She got so upset she started raising your voice and saying I don't need to put up with this crap I can't deal with this. Walked away and left me standing there to which the manager came over and said I told you I would call you back when I found out the estimate. And I replied you said you call me right back and it's been 40 minutes so I decided I'd come down to find out what you guys were going to charge for this car. I said I'm really not trying to be difficult to which she responded I'm trying to believe that. And honestly folks I didn't want to be difficult if they just given me an estimate ahead of time which they wouldn't. So then it turns out the cars already done he comes walking over with a bill and a bill is for $480 is mind you that's exactly what a set of new brakes cost their it Secor Subaru. Having replace the bearings on a Jeep 6 months earlier and only paying $275 I knew I was getting ripped off. So then I kind of raised my voice and said this is ridiculous she said it would be half the cost of brakes and this is exactly what a set of brakes cost. Love saying a word he walked away and then came back 5 minutes later with a revised price for $270 which I paid and promised I would never return again. I'm planning on getting a new Subaru next year again, and it looks like I have to find a new dealership. 10 years never a problem and suddenly on this mean bully that is trying to frighten and intimidate the staff there. More

Why did I not give a 5 star rating? My appointment was for 11 A.M.; however, due to maintenance work on other vehicles, the start time for work on my car was delayed 1.5 hours. I was provided with a ride due to the delay, and I appreciated that; however, my schedule for that day was ruined. More
