Was put on hold twice and she kept speaking to someone else while speaking to me. I didn’t trust what the girl had done so I had to call back to make sure the appointment was correct. When I got there I didn’t have all info to get a loaner and had to reschedule. Frustrating! When I went back for service they called late in the day to tell me they were backed up and had to keep the car overnight. They told me there was $2k repairs that needed to be done! Wow! At 90k miles I was shocked! I called the next morning to approve some of the work to be done and didn’t hear back. And didn’t hear. I kept waiting to hear. No phone call update. Finally I called them after 3pm and was told oh yes your car is ready. More frustration!!!!! There was confusion as to who was the right person to go over the bill. There was no customer copies of the paperwork. Was it Amanda or Jay or someone else that was dealing with my car? I was totally annoyed by this point. Overall not a good experience at all and a very expensive one. Also, the rattle in the exhaust that I was told was a missing clamp on the heat shields that had been fixed did not fix the rattle. I used to really trust this place because I bought my car here 10 years ago and wanted to make sure to have a good maintenance record. I have always used this dealer service ever since buying the car. Now, I probably won’t go back and will find a mechanic local to me that I can trust is telling me the true story, that knows who is dealing with my car when I arrive and will probably be cheaper. More
60K Checkup and 2014 Subaru Outback runs like just like new! Although expensive (comparable to other car's 60K checkup) the car runs like new. Very noticeable improvement in performance. Top-Notch Service Team I had a serious situation with my brakes... I called the service team and while they were busy, they managed to find a time-slot for me to bring in my I had a serious situation with my brakes... I called the service team and while they were busy, they managed to find a time-slot for me to bring in my car. They provided a loaner car for me, and a short time later called me and explained exactly what was wrong, what it would take to fix it, and an estimated time for completion. My car was fixed sooner than I had expected, and the price was very reasonable. The brakes are now much better than when I bought the car 2 years ago...It's like driving a brand-new car! This is not the first time the folks at Secor have gone above and beyond the call to help me. They are a GREAT team that genuinely care about their customers, and they get the job done correctly. THANK YOU very sincerely to the entire Service Team !!! More

The work was turned over to Amanda and I have had difficulties in getting satisfactory work done. Work on a simple Dent Wizard job and the steering column took almost 5 days. A new scratch appeared when I picked up the car that needed to be repaired by the Secor Collision Technology shop and the steering column seam came apart when I got the car home. This was very stressful and affected my whole week's work schedule. I am usually very pleased with this dealership and will recommend them out of my loyalty to other employees, but I must say that I was not pleased with Amanda's responsibility, planning, or follow-through in this matter. John Pasternak and Jennifer Lewis were great addressing my customer service concerns and correcting the problem with an addional two day repair and paint job. My car looks great now but I have not gone back to the Secor Service Department yet to address the steering column issue......My salesman Dan Mirles is always great and I have bought all my cars from Secor since 2004; I own 2016 and 2018 Foresters. More

After completing a 30,000 mile service on my 2015 Forester, I was informed that a crack in the differential required that a new part needed to be orde After completing a 30,000 mile service on my 2015 Forester, I was informed that a crack in the differential required that a new part needed to be ordered and installed. Since I had previous plans for an overseas trip, the service rep agreed to keep the car until the work had been completed, then park it at the Secor service center and finally return it to my home in Old Lyme some 15 miles away. I returned frkm my trip yesterday and was very pleased to find my car fully repaired and in my home garage. In my view, that was quality service at many levels. Many thanks to the Secor service team and particularly to Amanda who made all the arrangements. Damon Smith More
