The service advisors are always friendly, helpful and prompt. The value is outstanding. For a regular oil change I get a ride home and back so I don't need to sit around the dealership. I also get a complimentary car wash (they do a good job) and vacuum. The price is always reasonable. More
Great customer service rep Pat gave some dealer recommendations. I told her that I follow the schedule in my Toyota book. She said that the mechanic found that my battery was ab Pat gave some dealer recommendations. I told her that I follow the schedule in my Toyota book. She said that the mechanic found that my battery was about 70% capacity. I declined a new battery. When I returned home I checked my battery and it was about 70% capacity. I checked the acid level in the battery and it was below the battery plates. I added distilled water to the battery and charged the battery and it returned to 100% capacity. When a mechanic checks a battery he should also check the liquid level in the battery before suggesting a battery replacement. Excellent service rep. but I think the mechanic may need some training on how to check and maintain a battery. More
Very unacceptable I am a local government employee and long time resident of Highlands County and have purchased 4 vehicles from Alan Jay. I recently made an Warranty s I am a local government employee and long time resident of Highlands County and have purchased 4 vehicles from Alan Jay. I recently made an Warranty service appointment on my 2017 Toyota Tacoma for 7:30am 11/19/2019 and service department has always assured me there is plenty of time for me to get to work by 9:00 am. On this particular day I also told the service rep that my key would not open the doors automatically and it may need a battery but i did not know how to open the bob and he assured me they would look at it and it may delay me and I told him that we will see how it goes just let me know. I also was to get courtesy wash. When 8:45 approached I ask the checkout employee if they would see if my truck is ready. She had me speak to Jackie whom went out in the service area came back and said they were just putting in oil. So at that point I was a bit upset because now I would be late to work. When they did get finished and pulled my truck around the service guy with the paper work stood and talked at the desk for at least 5 to 7 minutes. At that point I got up from where I was sitting by the checkout area and ask about the delay addressing Jackie. She explained that the key was the delay and that it was fine. I also saw that my truck had not been washed. I was not happy. So I expressed that to Jackie and told her that I would not give a satisfactory review. As I went to get into my truck I noticed the key still not working. I then left the car lot. I phoned Barbie to express my dissatisfaction and she said it always takes an hour or longer regarding service and that when I went to check on my truck they felt that by then to wash my truck would delay me even further but that has never been my experience in the past and no one ever came to me to explain there might be a delay so that i would have been able to choose to not have a wash or to know what was going on. I am so dissatisfied with this last purchase of my vehicle as well as this recent service and will no longer recommend or purchase any future vehicles from Alan jay. More
