As a family, our experience with this dealership has been excellent. We bought a 2007 Passat here several years ago and the staff was knowlegable, friendly, and patient through the entire process. One you excellent. We bought a 2007 Passat here several years ago and the staff was knowlegable, friendly, and patient through the entire process. One young sales associate cheerfully escorted us from car to car in the pouring rain. We currently service two Passats here and couldn't be more pleased with Chuck Buzzell's team. They are exceptionally knowledgeable, upfront and accommodating. The strength of this team of professionals is obvious with each visit. More
Went in to buy a used car, ended up leasing a new 2011 Jetta. Got a very good price for my car. Mike was fair and helpful. The salesperson, Denise, answered all of my questions and was very knowledgeable. Jetta. Got a very good price for my car. Mike was fair and helpful. The salesperson, Denise, answered all of my questions and was very knowledgeable. When I went to pick up my car she explained every button and switch and even programmed my phone to take advantage of the bluetooth that came with the car. All told, a very good experience. More

They are always helpful and accomodating to my schedule, and keep me on track for regular maintenance to keep my car running smoothly. The big repairs such as timing belts are always difficult financially, but Seacoast understands and does the work at a competitive price. More
My GTI needed a new engine. SCVW and myself agreed on a salvaged engine with warranty. They installed it. I paid a hefty sum and drove off. The check engine light came on before I got home. I bring it salvaged engine with warranty. They installed it. I paid a hefty sum and drove off. The check engine light came on before I got home. I bring it back. It is determined that this salvaged engine is bad and the car needs yet another engine. Here is the VERY unethical part: they want me to be responsible for the labor to take this bad engine out and put the next engine in... does this make sense to anyone out there? Five months later, without my car, after retaining a lawyer, I settle with SCVW to get a new engine and install it with warranty and I do pay a 'reduced labor rate' for the second go at this. I personally was treated with respect by the staff, but I highly reccomend AGAINST taking your car here for repairs due to the very unethical nature in which they conduct their business. PS... They never call you, you have to call them. Always. (or maybe they called me once in the five months I was dealing with this) If you go SCVW, good luck to you. More
I purchased my first VW Jetta diesel there in 1985, it is still running today and has had repairs, service done at Seacoast. Also have had a second-hand 2003 Jetta diesel serviced. Repair turn-around hasn't b still running today and has had repairs, service done at Seacoast. Also have had a second-hand 2003 Jetta diesel serviced. Repair turn-around hasn't been the quickest, but they are pretty busy with cars coming in all the time, and some of the repairs have not been easy "jobs", either. More
Being the closest shop to where I live I bring both our cars here for routine service and warranty issues. Oil change prices are fair and they dont overfill like I have experienced at other dealers. Howeve cars here for routine service and warranty issues. Oil change prices are fair and they dont overfill like I have experienced at other dealers. However, a 4 hour wait after being told it will be 40 minutes is frustrating. The service advisors are pleasant but seem to be unknowledgable. After we bought our Jetta we experienced problems with starting it, we brought the car in for service and I explained the problem. The service manager tried to tell me I was using the wrong gas in the car (we use 93 octane) but not the brand he recommended. I said that there was a TSB for the issue out there, he said they didnt find anything. I made another appointment and brought the TSB with me when I went to that one. Once again tried to tell me there was no problem and they couldnt fix an issue that didnt exist. I handed them the TSB, the mechanic performed the upgrade to the ECU and the problem was solved. Its not unusual for them not to have the correct parts in stock and for it to take weeks for them to have them in to perform the work. The estimated times are usually much shorter than it turns out to be. Typically we leave a car and return to pick it up. I now know to call to make sure its been completed because far to many times I have showed up when they said it would be ready with my car still in the same spot not having been touched. More
'05 GTI involved in slightly more than minor accident. Dropped of on Sunday- keys and form filled out stating "damaged in accident, figure out whats wrong and give me an estimate." Called Monday at 6:45 Dropped of on Sunday- keys and form filled out stating "damaged in accident, figure out whats wrong and give me an estimate." Called Monday at 6:45 AM by steve in service asking, "what's wrong with your car?". Absurd on several levels. 3 months later, still no car. Have busted them red-handed lying, trying to blame insurance. Want great insurance? Steve Wentworth, AllState, exeter, nh. They had given me a check a week from that monday which I brought to the dealership. I said "I'll leave it here with you, but unsigned until the car is done." Long story short I'm told for a month that he cant reach the adjuster for damage not in estimate. Stupid me took him at his word for a month before I called AllState. I know them well and my lady there tells me no-way thats possible. There is a hotline that EVERYONE (but me) knows about to deal with this, its standard. I go in to call them on it, and the service manager was the worst ever. Huge blowout where I was told, "you dont tell me what to do" by Service Manager!!!!! STILL NO CAR! Now they say headliner is on national backorder, could be up to 6 months! I'm calling another dealership to see if that's true right now. wish me luck. AND NEVER EVER DEAL WITH SEACOAST VOLKSWAGEN, GREENLAND NH!!!!!!!!!! SERIOUSLY!!!!! More
I went here to lease a new Jetta. I wanted to test drive it one more time before commencing negotiations. Upon asking the sales person if I could test drive the vehicle he asked for my name and address, wh it one more time before commencing negotiations. Upon asking the sales person if I could test drive the vehicle he asked for my name and address, which I provided. Then he asked for my phone number which I did not want to provide at this point just in case I changed my mind about the car. He said, "No phone number, no test drive" turned around and walked away, leaving me there like a fool. I didn't realize that providing a telephone number was a prerequisite to taking a test drive. I had the down payment in my purse, too bad they lost a sale because of a telephone number. More
