This ones a juicy one, dig in 😑🙃 A year ago, the mishap of all mishaps began. My vehicle, a 2019 dodge journey, started overheating. I brought the vehicle to the dealership from where I purchased it mishap of all mishaps began. My vehicle, a 2019 dodge journey, started overheating. I brought the vehicle to the dealership from where I purchased it, MIND YOU paid for in full, with only 20,000 miles on it at this point, purchased with only 7000 miles on it. Upon bringing it there, their technicians claimed my "overheating issue" was unfounded and My complaint deemed false. Fast forward 3 days later, it continues to keep happening, I took VIDEO DOCUMENTATION for proof and contacted them, where they gave me a problem saying I was wrong. Get the car there, they have it for days, to find out waterpump was bad, replace it, pick up the car one week later and I get no more than 5 miles from the dealer AND it begins to overheat AGAIN. I call, no one wants to answer my calls. Finally get a response, they have me drop car back off. Few days later they claim its a thermostat and dash sensor.. fix it,pick it up, get 10 miles from dealer and OVERHEATS. Call them, bring it back next day. They claim it was a faulty thermostat. Replace it, get car back. Car STILL overheating. I kept telling the service dept that with how long it was overheating I guarantee the headgaskets had warped by now, they keep telling me no and I don't know what I'm talking about. I pushed, got the warranty company to push, AND SURE ENOUGH headgaskets on my 20,000 mile driven vehicle have To be replaced. 3 months they had my vehicle at this point !!!! Fast forward to a few months later, car starts to OVERHEAT AGAIN. Take it back in, AGAIN waterpump is leaking. Replace it. Take the car back. This was sept, OCTOBER comes and AGAIN ALL YOU SMELL IS ANTIFREEZE. I call to tell them, they take 3 weeks to get my car in. This time it's a coolant crossover pipe leaking AND a thermostat gasket THAT WAS REPLACED TWICE IN DECEMBER OF 2021 TWO DAYS APART. Have the car for 5 days, call and tell me it's ready wed afternoon. Pick it up Wed night after work, drive it home, GUESS WHAT SMELLS EVEN WORSE THAN BEFORE LIKE ANTIFREEZE AND HAS GOTTEN STRONGER AND STRONGER EVERYDAY SINCE. I call and leave vm that evening for the service manager to call me, and call thurs morn and leave another vm to ensure I get call back. Scheduler calls me, says he is "bopping around the office, ill have him call you when I see him again." Wait all day, call and leave him vm at 2 pm. 330 rolls around, calls me and looks into my file, realizes, xxxx, they have had my car more in the past year than I did. Promises he will come to my job Monday to get the car so I don't miss anymore work being as over the past year all the time I had to miss because of the car being down. I asked him and his scheduler Friday if I could get a vehicle that would accommodate my disabled sons car seat because it is far larger than your average car seat. Manager tells her to tell me he will work on it. Monday comes. No call,no show. I call this morning and leave vm. Scheduler calls back with an entire attitude on my vm basically yelling at me that her manager is our bc his wife gave birth and he is busy taking care of a newborn baby, that she will figure something out. We play phone tag, she finally calls me back and I ask again about the vehicle size bc of my child's carseat. She says they can't provide me with a bigger vehicle to accommodate his needs. I ask her to ask upper management to put that in writing for me, she says she will talk to someone. Go to drop off the car this afternoon at 4pm, when I asked the service desk women if anyone was able to write something up, they QUICKLY NAME DROPPED the owner who told them absolutely not, he's not writing me anything. That I either take the vehicle offered to me as a rental or leave it. When I asked for a corporate phone number, they wouldn't give it to me, gave me an 800 customer service number when I told them it was for the ADA to Contact them in regards to this matter. Needless to say, this has been my life the past year, having to miss work, cancel my sons appointments out of town, miss important events. All for them to continue charging me AND my warranty company for a CLEARLY defective vehicle. IT TRULY SADDENS ME THAT IN 2022, THE DISABLED COMMUNITY IS SO DISCRIMINATED AGAINST, HOW REAL THE LACK OF COMPASSION IS FOR THEM. I FIGHT DAILY FOR THE RESPECT OF MY CHILD AND THE OWNER OF THIS POPULAR CAR DEALERSHIP LITERALLY DISRESPECTED HIM AND DISREGARDED ME LIKE HIS NEEDS DONT MEAN A xxxx THING. That type of behavior is NOT acceptable. Shame on you !!!!! NEVER WILL I EVER RECOMMEND THIS HEADACHE CAR DEALERSHIP TO A HUMAN BEING. More
So disappointed to have been sold a vehicle from here that has had one issue after another since purchasing. We went in a little over 3 years ago to find a nice, safe SUV for our new family. We trusted t that has had one issue after another since purchasing. We went in a little over 3 years ago to find a nice, safe SUV for our new family. We trusted that was what we got. Our "all wheel drive" vehicle, in fact, never had all wheel drive to begin with since we bought it (mechanical and computer issues), and has been terrible in the winter, almost causing several accidents with my children in the car. I am still paying monthly on this vehicle, and have paid for so many repairs over the last 3 years between a leaking sunroof, water damage, etc. Wish we had taken this to our mechanic to look over before purchasing. We learned our lesson. We will not be back and will let others know to use caution as well. More

Paid to have a hitch and harness installed on our new Grand Cherokee L we bought there. When trying to connect to older standard lighting trailers, we get error codes and the lights don't work. Took it Grand Cherokee L we bought there. When trying to connect to older standard lighting trailers, we get error codes and the lights don't work. Took it back for them to look at, which they originally told us would be 4 weeks until the appointment, they said a fuse was blown and everything works. We took it home and it still didn't work on our two trailers. These trailers work on every other vehicle tested. The Grand Cherokee L does work with new trailers with LED lights, as we tested it on a few. It took weeks to get back into their service department and after over 4 hours of waiting, we were told everything works on their end. They said we can come back in 3 weeks with the trailer in question. They also refused to let us talk to the actual person servicing the vehicle. More
Bottom line. 2stars. Would I buy another vehicle from them? No. Here's my story and you can judge if my evaluation is accurate. I bought a 2012 ram 1500 in Augus 2stars. Would I buy another vehicle from them? No. Here's my story and you can judge if my evaluation is accurate. I bought a 2012 ram 1500 in August 2021. I waited 9 months to give my review so I could evaluate the reliability of the truck and allow my emotions to cool. My salesman was Scott. Price was fair. Cash deal no trade. Took a test drive, liked it. Noticed the seatbelt light stayed on. Scott assures me it would be fixed during prep which it was. Pick the vehicle up late in the evening. Notice the check engine light is on. Scott puts a new gas cap on it. Problem appears to be fixed. Driving home notice break lights are stuck on. Dealership is now closed for the day. Call Scott next day. Apologizes and I bring the vehicle back. Scott gives me a nice loaner. They have the truck a week. Service department calls. They cant replicate the problem but they replaced the brake switch. I pick truck up late Saturday. I get home break light stuck on again. Dealship is now closed for the day. Next day Sunday check engine light comes on. Call and ask for Scott Monday morning. He is not in the building. I'm anxious and want this resolved so I ask to speak with Mike the used car manager. Mike seems annoyed that I'm bringing this to him and quickly shuttles me to the service department. I'm told to bring it back in. On the way there the dashboard lights up like a christmas tree however the truck is running fine. I get another nice loaner. A week goes by. I call both service and the switch board repeatedly Monday to see if its done. Goes right to voice mail. Wait another day nobody calls back. Call again Wednesday. Speak with a service rep. She promises to check on the vehicle. Thursday service calls back. Should be done soon. I go to pick it up they inform me that they broke a sensor during the repair and cant get the part for another day. Get another nice loaner. Come back the next day. Talk with Ian the service manager. They could not replicate the issues but they replaced the brake switch and the gas cap again and believe it's fixed. So now I've owned the car almost 4 weeks and have only had it in my possession 4 days, they are not positive its fixed, I'm thinking there is a major electrical issue with this truck, it's a lemon and my 30 day warranty is almost up. I ask for Scott. It's his day off. I ask to speak to Mike and explain the situation to him and ask him to extend the warranty another 30 days or at least the balance of time I didnt have the truck to be sure it fixed. He very rudely tells me absolutely not. I voice my displeasure and tell him how disappointed I'm am with his decision. His attitude told me basically that he has my money and what happens now is no longer his concern and refers me back to Ian. I ask the speak to the general manager but he is gone for the day. At this point I have had enough and leave intending to contact the owners. I decide not to waste my last bullets until I see if the problem is fixed. After a few nervous months I have had no further issues and it seems to be reliable. Had it reoccured after the 30 days would they have done the right thing? I dont know. Were they aware of the issues when they inspected it before sale? I dont think they intentionally tried to deceive me. Should they have done a better job ensuring there were no issues with the truck before putting it up for sale? Possibly. Were some of the customer service issues in regards to communication and length of time they had the vehicle for service related to the pandemic? Probably. Had Mike extended the warranty and given me the peace of mind that the problems were resolved all the other irritations would probably have felt more minor , I would have probably given them 4 stars instead of 2.5 and I would have considered buying from them again. That is all I have to say. More

Bought a used Chevy Trax about 2 years ago. Paid cash, no financing. Did not purchase extended warranty as it was very expensive and vehicle was fairly new with low mileage. Within a month, the air condition financing. Did not purchase extended warranty as it was very expensive and vehicle was fairly new with low mileage. Within a month, the air conditioner didn’t work. Brought it back to be serviced and after 4 days the issue was not fixed. The car is literally falling apart to the point it needs to go to an actual Chevy dealership. Scranton Dodge takes zero responsibility and after admitting they cannot fix it, will not assist with cost of same. If you’re looking for good service, look elsewhere.. I DO NOT recommend!!!! Will never go back nor will I refer…Take care of your customers. That’s how you get them to come back! More
