Fair weather friends. Customer service, "what is that"? Bought a 2012 certified used car for $21000 cash. car that Scott VW sold to the original owner, a car that Scott VW did all the maintenance on, A car Bought a 2012 certified used car for $21000 cash. car that Scott VW sold to the original owner, a car that Scott VW did all the maintenance on, A car that was certified by Scott VW, a car that we were told that Scott VW stands behind. we received 3 phone calls in the next 3 days from Scott VW asking how we liked the car. 11 days after we bought this wonderful car it broke down and was in the shop NOT at Scott VW. I immediately called Scott VW to see what they could do for us. They knew exactly what the problem was before the car was even looked at by a mechanic. After that phone call Scott VW never got back to us no matter how many times or how many ways we tried to contact them. We finally sent a complaint to VWcustomercare.com and I cc Scott VW approximately 5 minutes after I sent that email Russ Baird from Scott VW was calling my house making all kinds of promises. None of which they have kept nor have we heard a word from him as he promised we would. Do not let the low prices or the friendly smiles fool you there is a reason their prices are so low and they smile so broadly. They know you are going for a ride. All the horror stories that you may have heard about car dealers you can experience at Scott VW. Scott VW seems to believe that customer service is something the other guys should do!! More

Honest and Straightforward. Great Customer Service! I have visited numerous dealers in the area, and Scott is far and away the best. Glenn, our salesperson, was honest, friendly, helpful, and NO PRESSU I have visited numerous dealers in the area, and Scott is far and away the best. Glenn, our salesperson, was honest, friendly, helpful, and NO PRESSURE! He let us drive the cars we wanted to drive. He was honest about what he could and couldn't offer in terms of pricing. He made sure that we had all the information we needed. We weren't easy customers. We visited the dealership 3 times in the course of a month to drive cars. I ended up with a beautiful 2012 GTI. Everything was included. Floor mats. All-weather mats. Cargo blocks. Manuals. The car is spotless. Friends can't believe it's used. It really looks and feels brand new. I also got a great price. $1500 less than a similar car on Carmax, and mine was CPO! If you're thinking about a VW, go to Scott. More
We purchased a 2012 certified pre-owned Touareg in July and were told they could not give is the CPO certificate because a computer update needed to be installed. We scheduled an appointment for August 8th and were told they could not give is the CPO certificate because a computer update needed to be installed. We scheduled an appointment for August 8th, arrived for the update after driving an hour to the dealership and waited an hour to be told the update could not be installed. They said it was a VW problem. We heard nothing for over a month about correcting this issue. Finally called the chat line at VW of America who has done nothing but accept a "wait" response from Scott VW. We believe the car is not CPO certified in spite of Scott VW telling us it was. We have not received any certification and continue waiting for VW of America to call and tell us the status of this issue. We are beginning to feel this may have to be submitted under the "Lemon Law" for settlement. To make a long story short, we are totally dissatisfied with Scott VW and quite frankly VW of America doesn't seem to respond to our issue either. The response we are getting from VW of America is that they are waiting for a full report from Scott VW. We have been waiting for months for the same thing but to no avail. I would steer clear of this dealership. More
