We recently purchased a new Pilot and the entire experience has been terrific. The sales process was smooth and the service dept has been extremely friendly/helpful. The bank sent us a huge bill trying to squeeze more money out of us even after we satisfied our lease obligations...Scott Robinson wrote a check and made it go away. I went into purchase a car for my wife's birthday and bought an '08 Honda Accord. The service waiting room does not feel very good. I think they need to remodel it. If I will have services other than oil change, I definitely will not wish to stay there. lol. Out of all the new car sales experience I've had, this is the WORST EVER. I'm never giving my business to this dealership again. During the sales process, they employed every single sleazy sales tactic, the WORST EVER. I'm never giving my business to this dealership again. During the sales process, they employed every single sleazy sales tactic, like putting my driver's license in his pocket and refusing to give it back, promising to get me a "good deal" (which turned out to be a lie), and pretending go back and forth to his manager to negotiate the sale. After the paperwork was signed, they turned from bad to worse. They acted like we didn't even exist. The finance manager even laughed at me in front of his employees when I asked a question about the terms of the loan. Every employee in the sales department was rude, discourteous, and arrogant. I can't understand how one place can have that many horrible employees. More
We recently bought a 2006 Honda Civic EX (feb 22, 2006)at Scott Robinson's Honda (hawthorne, Torrance, Ca) and our experience was a "NIGHTMARE". The salesman named Tamer did the paper trick to us. During the sales pitch he showed us a paper with a lower price of the car. He told us that he can ask his Manager to even lower the price of the car and probably get more for our trade in while we sign the paper works. After signing the paperworks the manager came in and told us that he could not give us the initial price to us and jacked up the price. So I know something was not right. It smell fishy - So I told them that I'm going to be back the next day. But the salesman offered me free oil changes, Car Insurance for thirty days, more money for my trade in, and he would take care of taking out the navigation/dvd system in the truck the very next day..he said he would take care of us..So I was made to believe in all this &*&(*^)*. By the way I was also talked into buying a $2100 warranty and $650 GAP insurance. The 30 day insurance coverage was out of the picture they gave us 10 days... I went back to the dealership for the Navi/Audio system and was promised day after day. Finally, after complaining to the manager it was taken out of the car...the wires, harnesses we're all cut off.....most of it was not usable. Now I have to spend atleast $300 for the alpine cables/harness..what a waste. ALL I CAN SAY IS " WHAT KIND OF PEOPLE DO THIS TO OTHER PEOPLE????"...I JUST WISH THAT MORE PEOPLE WILL BE AWARE OF HOW SCOTT ROBINSON HONDA TREATED US AND SO THEY WONT SUFFER THE NIGHTMARE THAT WE HAVE RIGHT NOW!! I just want to get rid of this Honda and buy a LEXUS again. There's no comparison with the people and the service. Yeah Of course you pay a LOT Less for a Honda but I dont mind spending a lot more with HONEST people. More
We were passing by scott robinson and we decided to go see the deals. They tell us we are lucky they had three specials left: an 05 Accord DX, where they added leather seats (but no AC of course) for 1658 see the deals. We drive the car, and we decide to buy it. During the deal process, we ask to throw in the AC for no extra charge, which they agreed on. On the paper (4 sq) they write 18520 Out of the door. Deal's done. We sign the papers (without really paying attention to the exact price of the veh). We find out later that they wrote on it: 21200 OTD. When we go back to find the truth, they refused to show us the 4sq paper, and ask us to leave and to take our service business elsewhere... We were told that we were liers and that they did not want to deal with people like us... (I bought 2 cars before: 02 GMC envoy, 99 VW passat, never complained)!! Bottom line, if you want to be ripped off, go buy your next car from Scott Robinson Honda...<br> More
