The sales people do not mention that it is not honored by every Chevy dealer so you basically do not have an option but to go to them. Waited a week to get on their schedule only to get a text not even call and tell us they did not get to your vehicles today!! Seems like if your under warranty you take back seat ! Never will I purchase a vehicles from them again after many purchases . More

“ They bring technical skill with advanced diagnostics…? ? ? “ Dealership SCAM ! ! ! I recently brought my 2016 Chevy Silverado in for service, prior to the end of my 70,000 extended warranty. I mentioned ? ? “ Dealership SCAM ! ! ! I recently brought my 2016 Chevy Silverado in for service, prior to the end of my 70,000 extended warranty. I mentioned to the Service Writer that I had a slight pulsation in my brake pedal and could he have the mechanic check it out. After the mechanic checked out my truck, the Service Writer told me that the mechanic had reported that my left front caliper was frozen and causing excessive brake pad and rotor wear on my left front. He stated that I will need a NEW Caliper and Both front Rotors and Brake Pads replaced. I told him I would forgo doing this at that time. What I didn’t tell the Service Writer was that I had just replaced both Brake Rotors and Brake Pads just 3 months earlier. So after having them do an oil change and front transfer case service I took my truck home. The following morning, I jacked the front of my truck up and checked the tire free spin. Both tires spun freely. Next I removed the wheels and checked the Brake Rotors and Pads. Both were wearing evenly and smooth. ( Which I was told the mechanic stated, were worn down excessively on the drivers side wheel ( due to a frozen caliper ) and uneven to the passenger side wheel ( due to the frozen caliper on the drivers side ). Dealership Scam ? I will NEVER go back to this dealership for service or anything else. You may want to set up and have someone from Chevrolet check these people out. In the Schumacher Chevrolet ads they say “ Come Join The Family ! “, Yeah, after my experience that’s an invitation to “ Come join the family “ and get Screwed ! More

I HAVE A LETTER FROM GM STATING THAT THE DEALER MUST ORDER THE CORRECT PASTS PRIOR TO SCHEDULING MY SERVICE APPOITMENT. I'M SELF EMPLOYED AND LOST A DAYS PAY BECAUSE I HAD TO CANCE MY WORK TO TAKE THE DAY OFF. I MADE A COPLAINT TO GM AND ASKED THAT THE DEALER CONTAC ME WITH AND EXPLANATION AND NEVER HAD A CALL FROM THEM, BESIDED THAT I WAS TOLD BY THE SERVICE MANAGER AND THE WRITER NEVER TO RETURN TO THE DEALERSHIP. ANYONE LOOKING FOR GM SERVICE STAY AWAY FROM SCHUMACHER CHEVY ( LITTLE FALLS NJ). More
If you like to get cheated, please see Mr. Gene Christiano, Service Advisor at Schumacher Chevrolet. I dropped off my car to replace a catalytic converter, which is under warranty, and he tried to sell me another service that was not under the warranty for $800. When I told him that I will repair my car elsewhere, he told me I still had to pay a $165 diagnostic fee. I asked for the invoice to note the part is “flex part” but he refused to give me an invoice and instead offered to drop the diagnostic fee. I will also send this review to Chevy headquarters. More
The buying experience was fine but the service department is disorganized and they have no idea how to do customer service. After being on their wait list for 3 months for a recall I received an email and s is disorganized and they have no idea how to do customer service. After being on their wait list for 3 months for a recall I received an email and scheduled an appointment. They sent me several reminders and they had 6 days to review the appointment. Only when I arrived did they bother to tell me they didn't have the part and that it would be another 3 months to get it. The service advisor told me they would get my car back to me immediately. I asked her when they discovered this and she said 30 minutes ago. I asked if they had tried to contact me to save me the trip and she said no and seemed surprised that I would expect them to do that. I went outside and after 5 minutes I noticed a service tech get into my car and drive it away. After another 5 minutes he returned and when I asked him where my car was he said with the mechanic. No one bothered to tell him to return the car to me. If you ever expect to need service I would suggest going to a different dealership. More

I dropped my truck off here Saturday after it was experiencing transmission problems and was told that there are no loaner cars available until "sometime in July." As of this morning, my truck was not looked at and there were still no available loaners. I called Ott Miller in West Caldwell and they indicated that they would be happy to help. I picked my vehicle up this morning from Schumacher, took my truck to Ott Miller, and was pleased to see they had three loaners available by this afternoon. I was given service here that far exceeded the "quality" provided by Schumacher. I am looking forward to working with Ott Miller for repairs on my truck and will purchase any future vehicles here instead. More
My Malibu is just barely five years old. All my service and that of my family (2 other vehicles) have been through the Service Department. Our cars have never been taken to an outside mechanic. Everytime and that of my family (2 other vehicles) have been through the Service Department. Our cars have never been taken to an outside mechanic. Everytime I go there the price runs $300-$700 because they always find a problem with something on the car. This time there were two things wrong on the car (brakes lights and flashers out) and parking brake (also was serviced and replaced previously) and I was charged a whopping $1,900 and some change. That is utterly ridiculous for a car that only has 82,000 miles and has been serviced by the same dealer since I bought it new. I believe that Chevy should stand behind the quality of its cars and give me some of this money back. Either that or the mechanics and service department see women and plan to rip them off because we don't know about cars. Then they had the nerve to ask me if I wanted them to check out my remote start which is not working(which would have been several hundred more). I said no to that. For Chevy's Malibu to be named a reliable car it certainly has cost me a lot of monies. I have paid more in repairs than the car is worth. I think my next car will be anything but a Chevy or Toyota.
