Short Version: Superior customer service, excellent price. I HIGHLY recommend this dealership. Long Version: Guess I was a bit spoiled, my last 4 cars were BMW (2), Infiniti, and Lexus. You know... price. I HIGHLY recommend this dealership. Long Version: Guess I was a bit spoiled, my last 4 cars were BMW (2), Infiniti, and Lexus. You know... "the brands to be seen in if you can't afford a Bentley". Never in a million years did I even slightly consider purchasing a Chevy... until I drove a friend's 2013 Malibu. Finally, an interior from an American auto manufacturer that I actually enjoyed looking at. Seating surfaces that did not look like Walmart beach chairs, controls in all the right places. Woa! An engine and trans combo that didn't shake and hesitate when I became a bit demanding or more importantly, when I had to get out of the way of a truck. Chevy... you guys finally did it congrats! Ok so let's buy one I said and that's when I started to get a bit nervous. Non high end brands tend to be sold by pushy sales people with nasty attitudes and unquestionably questionable sales tactics. Bail might be more than the down payment I thought to myself and almost drove past Crane Chevy in Clifton, NJ. Anyway, I walked in and was kind of impressed by the fact that I wasn't swarmed by salespeople. They actually let me look at the cars without bothering me. After about 5 minutes a friendly voice greeted me and introduced himself. John Case was his name. One of the nicest people I have had the luck of meeting. I told John exactly what I was looking for, we sat down to negotiate, of course I said no to the first offer but within 10 minutes he and sales manager Jim Brown came back to the table with an offer I could not refuse. Joe Mastbeth, also did a great job with getting me approved at a great rate, explained every penny on the contract in detail and had me laughing the whole time. There was a sense of calm, honesty and clarity about the entire process. Not once did I feel pressured, not once did they try to push me into a car I did not want, not once did I even for a second feel angry or frustrated. This is how auto buying should be!!! Oh and yes, I got an EXCELLENT deal. So, not only did Crane win a customer for life but Chevy did as well thanks to the exemplary customer service at Crane. Disclaimer: Since everyone doubts everything nowadays, I do not work for Chevy or Crane. I wrote this long review because I was blown away by the entire experience. This is a super rare occurrence and I have never written a review for any dealership before. More
Nick was really great at helping me figure out my lease and options. He's very patient, informative and flexible. I don't enjoy going to car dealerships as most salesmen are very pushy and try to "sell" e and options. He's very patient, informative and flexible. Nick was very pleasant during our first visit and wasn't pushy at all. We went back to him when deciding on getting a lease. I would recommend Nick to anyone considering a Chevy. More
I wanted to purchase a Chevy Cruise but, I did not have the best credit as LIFE had thrown some stuff my way. I decided on Crane because two years ago my company truck (Silverado) was having a problem and I pulled into the Crane Chevy service and the Service Manager took my right in. I would encourage anyone looking for a new or used Chevy, stop at Crane first.....no need to go anywhere else. More
After a long drawn out sales process, we arrived to pick up the car only to find out that the car was lacking a critical accessory that we had specifically included in the contract. The salesman did not know his cars' options and gave us the wrong information. The sales manager then came over to us and told us that had he known what a great offer the salesman gave us he would have never approved the deal-- talk about poor customer relations!! On top of this we lost a $1000 GM coupon which expired. We went to Hawthorne Chevy and got a better deal with people who were very nice and treated us well-- from negotiations to service. More
From the first moment we met John Cocchiere, he was respectful, knowledgeable and understood both that we were serious buyers but had a budget to work within. Over the last 10 years I have purchased 6-7 vehicles and out of them I would say 5 are from Crane Chevy. I have never had better service anywhere and it truly is like a family dealership with no '' car sa out of them I would say 5 are from Crane Chevy. Joe treats us like family and always has been right to the point with pricing and may I add THEY ARE VERY FAIR. I have never sat at a desk for 3 hours arguing or $25 a month and that is why I keep coming back to see Joe. More

I started my search online while sitting home sick with pneumonia. I went on the Chevy site and signed up to be contacted by dealerships. After a massive slew of emails from various dealerships something told me to respond to CJ's email - maybe it was the fact that I specifically said I only wanted to be contacted only via email (every other dealership was calling my cell 3-4xs a day). I responded at 2am the next day w list of questions and concerns detailing out what I'd want not sure if I'd get as detailed of a response back. Well to my delight I got an email back first thing in the AM that was super detailed and friendly. I set up a time to come in on the weekend but was still sick and had to postpone. Ever friendly CJ said no problem and rescheduled to the following weekend. In the meantime I decided to check out Multi Chevrolet about 5min from my office and needless to say I was not impressed w the service I received and stuck w my appt at Crane. I showed up at Crane and was greeted by Jorge and he introduced me to Angel who promptly walked me through all the features in the Equinox and took me out to test drive the car. Angel didn't try to talk me into anything I didn't want. He really listened to what was important to me and worked with me on my trade-in and lease terms. I didn't plan on getting a car this soon but with this caliber of customer service I knew I was making the right decision. I can be high maintenance and I felt completely taken care of by this amazing team! Thanks guys! More
