When I appeared for my appointment to have my Buick Verano serviced, there seemed to be a glitch in the system and my name was not on the computer. The representative, Ken Moss, assured me my car wou Verano serviced, there seemed to be a glitch in the system and my name was not on the computer. The representative, Ken Moss, assured me my car would be serviced and true to his word, the car was serviced as expected and ready to roll in a little over an hour. The tires had been rotated, oil changed, and to my surprise, it was treated to a much needed car wash and vacuum throughout the interior. Mr. Moss also pointed out that I had a credit due me from a previous arrangement which I had forgotten about. This was applied to the total cost of the service call. It is too premature to indicate if I can refer your dealership. I am buying an american made car for the first time since 1973 and I feel that you are trying and have greatly improved your product. However, I found some areas of improvement that need to be addressed as it negated our customer experience. 1. Blaring music upon arrival to dealership is annoying & rude. We don't want to be welcomed by this loud music, it's almost as if you are catering to a much different crowd that your marketing efforts aspire; definitely a disconnect here. Complete turnoff! 2. Your telephone receptionists need to be trained better as they cannot provide good directions to the dealership. Frankly, it's not my problem how long they've been on the job or if they ever visited the location, they are the customer's point of contact. They need to be school on the basics such north/south/west/east. Also, land marks such as "acress the stree from McDonald's on the south side of Northlake would have been helpful. I spoke with two different receptionists and you wouldn't believe it. 3. Your phone system needs a quality check, you need to call the number once in awhile as the sales number I was transferred to is no longer in service. 4. If you want to compete with the luxury market you need to get quality coffee with real cream provided to the customers, anything less is unacceptable. 5. You have too many cars on display in the showroom and it makes it difficult to walk around especially for older people. 6. I will be experiencing the service department tomorrow so we'll see how that goes. 7. Peter was very patient and Rich did his best to explain things as I was surprised about the figures since it wasn't until we went into the finance office that the sales price for the lease was revealed. I think that we could have negotiated a better deal but after three hours we were spent; if that's your strategy it won't work again. Brenda was very pleasant and we are still waiting to hear her proposal, if's it's an improvement over our current carrier that offering Allstate will be a positive. 8. You need to upgrade the customer facilities overall. More
