Took 7 hours to buy a used Mini Hardtop, their salesman lied and delayed, then the car turned out to need $800 in repairs. At this point I've spent nearly 10 hours on the process of TRYING to buy a car from them, and the only thing they made easy is the decision not to return. Schomp’s slogan is “One person, One Hour, One price, It was NOT one hour but rather four hours, AND it was literally a cash deal with no financing. Simple deal that should have been in and out, especially was NOT one hour but rather four hours, AND it was literally a cash deal with no financing. Simple deal that should have been in and out, especially given that most preliminary paperwork was submitted the day before arrival. Additionally, the vehicle was damaged overnight by a lot attendant, and it took over one month for the repair part. Upon arrival for the repair part, the paint work was extremely poor (it had dirt in the clear coat) and I had to reject it. The parts manager stated the paintwork was done by a contractor that painted it in the parking lot. I drove an hour each way for this part and needless to say, I was not thrilled. Communication with my salesperson could have been much better through this ordeal. On a positive note, the service department was extremely courteous for a different issue needing fixed. Also, overall the sales team were friendly and courteous. More
