Was told my Element needed almost $1,700 worth of work which included replacing an O2 sensor and the brake master cylinder because it was cracked and leaking. Feeling like the price was too high, I took m which included replacing an O2 sensor and the brake master cylinder because it was cracked and leaking. Feeling like the price was too high, I took my car to another mechanic for a 2nd opinion. The result? There was nothing, NOTHING wrong with my brake master cylinder. The mechanic said all Schomp had to do was remove and/or clean the part and they would have seen that it was fine. So Schomp was prepared to charge me over $700 for a part I didn't even need simply because they're lazy and greedy. Avoid like the plague!!! More

I brought my car in for an oil change and was told at drop off that the charge would be $139. I thought is was a little pricy but agreed. I was not told that it would be extra to rotate the tires and rep drop off that the charge would be $139. I thought is was a little pricy but agreed. I was not told that it would be extra to rotate the tires and replace rear differential fluid. When I picked up the car I was told that the charge was going to be $275.25…yes, you read correctly…$275! When I asked about the difference in price I was blamed for misunderstanding and told that I had signed electronically an agreement that allowed them to charge me this. I’ve never in my life been charged for labor when I’ve gotten my oil changed. The labor alone was $174.27. Most overpriced “oil change” I’ve had. Won’t be returning. More
