Good start/bad ending The start was good. I traded in my BMW, picked a car from the dealership. During test drive I found one small issue with the car, they said they would The start was good. I traded in my BMW, picked a car from the dealership. During test drive I found one small issue with the car, they said they would definitely take care of it. I brought in my car to exchange, the issue on their car wasn't fixed. They convinced me that it wouldn't be a big issue. The car still drives but it's just disappointing that they couldn't fix it before selling it me, after they said they would. Another disappointing thing is they had only one key with the car they sold me. I gave them two keys for my car and asked them to make second key for the new car for me. It's probably like $100 max to make a key for a Grand Cherokee, not a big deal. I just thought it would be fare if they gave me two keys for their car since I gave them two for my BMW. They said they would try to do it for me and then will let me know. it's been almost two months now, I still haven't heard back from them. Basically after I bought the car and left the dealership, no one cared anymore! More
Big thanks to Ali and Shaun We love Ralph Schomp Honda, have purchased and serviced 6 Hondas with Schomp since 2000, in addition to having 4 other Hondas bought by close family m We love Ralph Schomp Honda, have purchased and serviced 6 Hondas with Schomp since 2000, in addition to having 4 other Hondas bought by close family members. We have always had excellent service, attention to detail, responsiveness and love the extended service hours that really help accommodate work schedules. Tonight Ali Guida and Shaun Lewis got our son's Honda Civic in that had hit a sidewalk during the recent snowstorm. They replaced a splash shield and bent wheel and re-aligned it. They had it ready and waiting, warming up for us when we picked it up at 9:40pm. Exceptional, fantastic, the service team will take care of you! More

From start to finish, their sales advisor, Lou Vascek was ready to help in any way. He made the entire process of car buying very simple, yet thorough. He also ensured Schomp's 3-day money-back guarantee should any issues arise with the car. The following day he called to personally thank me for my business and make sure that I "absolutely loved" the car. I did! The dealership found a spare key and remote for the car which I was thrilled about, and Lou delivered it to me on his day off. Very kind of him. I will definitely be referring Schomp to any one I know looking for their next vehicle. Thanks again, Lou! More
Shomp service is terrible. I always considered Ralph Shomp to have a solid reputation and that's why we decided to buy our Honda Pilot there. I had a good experience with our s I always considered Ralph Shomp to have a solid reputation and that's why we decided to buy our Honda Pilot there. I had a good experience with our salesperson and the purchasing process. However, the service is another story. We bought the "Shomp Care" at the time of purchase that would take care of the vehicle for the first 2 years. I have brought the car in 4 times and have had a problem every time. The first time they were to do a routine oil change and put on a bike rack we bought from them. The ordered me a loner car that I was to use as the service would take all day. When I arrived there were no more loner cars available (even though mine was to be reserved) and they had ordered the wrong bike rack, so could not install. So, I had wasted an hour and half driving there and back, waiting around for nothing. I had to go home with none of the work done. After getting the correct rack on after several months, we didn't like the whistling sound it made. They were gracious to take the rack back for a refund. However, when I went in to have it removed, I told them clearly "make sure to only remove the rack and not the crossbars as those were already on the car." I literally said this twice as I was nervous they'd screw it up. Sure enough, when I came bike attachments AND the crossbars were taken off my car. I brought it to their attention and they apologized and said it'd be another 30 mins to have someone reattach the crossbars. Well, I had to leave to pick up my kids right then. So...they sent out a technician several days later to re-attach them at my house. Incident #3: The battery on my car died 3 times. On the third time, my husband noticed the battery terminal was loose and was most likely the culprit for the battery continually dying. I brought the car in last week for an oil change and to have them check the battery and battery terminal for looseness (emphasizing this as the MAIN reason I was there). I waited in the waiting room for 1.5 hrs. The service advisor came and got me when it was done. She said the battery was inspected and "torqued tight all terminal end clamps." The battery passed load test. (work performed by Justin Lucero as noted on receipt). Yesterday, 8 days after having it serviced, the battery died again. I had to have a stranger look at it and he even noticed the clamp was loose on the battery. We finally had it jumped and when my husband looked at it, he noticed they hadn't even cleaned the battery terminal or tightened it to any level of satisfaction. So, he had to go out today, find the part and do it himself. What a colossal waste of time and energy! If I can't trust them to do a simple fix like this, how can I trust them with something more serious. My experience with Shomp Care is "smoke and mirrors." They have a nice waiting room with complimentary snacks and drinks. But....they aren't really doing their due diligence on your car. I don't trust them at all. More

JUST HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE, coming with a check and having the VIN assigned to me they still wanted my SSN. They forced me to get on their marketing lists or no car , i dealt wi coming with a check and having the VIN assigned to me they still wanted my SSN. They forced me to get on their marketing lists or no car , i dealt with at least 9 people while i was there for 2.5 hours 1-i came with a cashier check with the VIN number and their name on the check. Friday the day before The sales manager Brian said he knows the bank. Saturday when i got there they wanted my social security number for a Honda Financials Applications. I almost left, and the sales people were laughing behind me. I had to log into my bank account and show them the loan with my bank 2-the sales person calculated "stuff" and the amount was 1 PENNY more than their purchase and sale agreement, so my cashier check was 1 penny short. And with a weird voice he said HE WILL PAY THE PENNY OUT OF HIS POCKET. They made the 1-penny mistake and i get this behavior 3-i triple asked if if comes with 2 keys and a valley. When they double checked they already lost one of the keys. So they made a 2nd key, Then when i got the car it had only 2 keys NO valley key andthe key they lost and made on the spot i later realized it does not work). When i wanted to BUY a 3rd key , the sales person said it is $45. Then when i got to the service department the guy said it is $80 and he will NOT charge me for his labor. He told me 4 times he will WORK FOR FREE for me 4-i was forced to sign some of the Schomp paperwork that i do not need their extra insurance, and extra warranty, and service, and tire rotation 5-i was forced to sign a piece of paper that i agree for them to give out my address to other companies and their marketing department. MORE IMPORTANT the piece of paper states i CANNOT UNSUBSCRIBE my address from receiving junk mail 6-a few days before i bought the car, one of the sales people started to YELL at me when i said he does not need my exact address to calculate the taxes, he just needs the city 7-they did not explain anything about the car 8-they did not even mention the Honda Roadside Assistance 9-i dealt with 4 people to get the purchase and sale bill before i went to my bank to get their check. When i got to the dealership i dealt with 3 sales people, their manager, the business manager, then an attendant, another sales person and a service person. EIGHT PEOPLE JUST HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE, coming with a check and having the VIN assigned to me More

I can't thank Terry Lockey enough, he's always there when I bring my car in and always always goes the extra mile. While everyone I've delt with has been great, I know I'm in good hands when he takes care of my car and honestly he's takes good care of me and my kids as well. Thank you Terry, you make getting my car fixed a pleasant experience! I also spoke with Andrew about my car being fixed and what he reccommends next for my car. He was great at communicating. More

He was very knowledgeable about the vehicle and made the buying experience fun and enjoyable. This is the second Honda we have bought from Ralph Schomp. We have received follow up calls from both Tim and Singh. The service department has also been excellent. We also want to mention how knowledgeable Sam (product pro) was when he showed the various electronics inside the vehicle. Lynn More
