They had what we wanted, a price which wasn't absurd, didn't try to talk us into something which wouldn't work as well for our growing family; the sales associate (Arthur) was very good about explaining anything we weren't sure about, bringing in management to approve a discount (Honda military veteran deal), and making sure we had drinks and snacks during the process. The computer setup and booths they have set up are snazzy and really help with the process -- better than staring at a little screen or even papers. My father in law has been a customer with Ralph Schomp since 1995, and after our experience I see why. More

I have always managed to get a "good deal" when buying cars in the past, but the process was painful and took forever. Knowing I needed another car before the end of the month, I decided to stop at Schomp Honda simply because it was close to him. I was immediately met by Chase at the front desk who was very professional and attentive, but relatable. He introduced me to Peter S. who seemed excited to work with me but not at all desperate to sell me a car. He listened to my needs and explained in-depth about how Schomp is working to create a standard, customer-centric buying experience across all dealerships. He didn't immediately jump into questions about what I could afford or probe to make sure I was Immediately ready to something that same day as I experienced with prior dealerships in town. Most importantly, when I found the car I wanted, he was on my side and it took about 10 minutes to explore all financing options. Once we agreed on the price, he gave me a breakdown of every step we would go through from that point on and exactly how long it would take. He repeatedly checked in with me while I was waiting and it made the wait feel minimal. Before I took possession of the car Chase spent about a half hour going over all the interior controls and details so that I didn't have any questions about how the features and functions of the car. What I appreciated the most in working with Chase is that he was actually excited to walk through everything with me. There were some options I didn't know if I wanted to turn on or off and Chase spent time explaining what most buyers choose as well as what he might do if he were in my position. It was nice to feel like I was actually still a customer after the paperwork was already complete. A big shout out to Peter S. and Chase for making a random stop into Schomp Honda the best car buying experience I have had. I'm a busy professional with a toddler at home, so the last thing I want to do with my free time is write reviews. However, if I can save someone like myself the pain associated with the "standard" car buying experience, then I am all for it. Thank you! CF More

Awesome buying experience! To start with, I found the Schomp showroom pretty huge, tidy and excellent facility. I felt the folks at Schomp Honda are more friendlier yet very pro To start with, I found the Schomp showroom pretty huge, tidy and excellent facility. I felt the folks at Schomp Honda are more friendlier yet very professional and welcoming than Kuni Honda, whom I would not recommend for their response/attitude towards a customer approaching them. At Schomp, I started conversation with Craig Christopherson and later Arthur Rawe, who were really very friendly, patient and helpful answering all my stupid/non-stupid questions and guided me until I took a decision finally to buy an Accord. They helped me with the loan application processing seamlessly, picking/dropping me & my wife from home to showroom whenever we visited. What else would I ask for - I think they have done a great job, which seriously encourages me to refer my friends to Schomp, and me to go back to them for my next car when I need one. I would rate both Craig and Arthur a 5 star. More

Purchased 2 cars - problems with both We recently purchased 2 vehicles from this dealership. We have had issues with both. 1. Dealer had one of the vehicles on the lot that had multipl We recently purchased 2 vehicles from this dealership. We have had issues with both. 1. Dealer had one of the vehicles on the lot that had multiple service lights (faults) on - I was told that something probably just needed to be reset after being serviced. The dealer kept the vehicle overnight so they could shut them off. 2. Dealer discovered that lights on the dash for said vehicle were actually the result of a bad sensor and the vehicle would take a day or two to repair. 3. Dealer had the vehicle for 2 weeks on this issue - said they would reimburse me for daily interest on the loan only after I asked for it (they never gave me this money). After telling them I can't be without a vehicle, they did get me a loaner. 4. Dealer called for me to pick said vehicle after 2 weeks. When I drove it off the lot, I could tell sow thing was wrong with the brakes. I took it straight to a trusted mechanic. They told me the vehicle not only needed new brakes and rotors (safety issue), shocks, and struts, but that it was also leaking hydraulic fluid. This all would have been very obvious to the dealership when they did their "routine inspection and reconditioning" as well as when they had the tires off to replace the faulty sensors. 5. I took back said vehicle to the dealership (still within my 48 hour return policy from the date I actually took possession of the car) to ask them what they intended on doing about the needed repairs. Dealer tried to get me to pay for repairs and only after letting them know they can have it back did they finally pony up to pay for the repairs. 6. Dealer had said vehicle for another week for repairs. When I went to pick up the vehicle, they offered no paperwork on what work was performed or the warranty details on parts. I spent 2 hours down there trying to get this information and was left waiting in the service department because the service department manage had gone home for the day. I was promised paperwork would be sent, it is now 8/15 and I still don't have it. 7. Dealer has changed their story on the "warranty" for work performed on said vehicle 4 times. After repeatedly having to follow up for paperwork to be sent to me on repairs done, I was told the following in this order: "There is no warranty on repairs, it is normal wear and time items." "There is a 12 month warranty on parts." "There is no warranty on repairs, it is normal wear and tear." "There is a 12 month warranty." I am not kidding or exaggerating - and this was all told to me by the same person in writing. I have proof. I know that parts like brakes and rotors typically have a warranty that is related to mileage, not time - but since I can't get anything in writing from the dealership as requested, who knows?! 8. The other vehicle we purchased also had issues. The rear backup sensors were not functioning (safety issue). The dealership had us bring the vehicle back for other repairs needed and we were told it would be a few days for them to get parts in. Two weeks later, we finally got this vehicle back. The dealer did provide a loaner to us. 9. Said vehicle had an oil change at the dealership on 8/1 - so we were surprised to see an oil leak spring up on the vehicle a few days after picking it up from the other repairs. We took it to a trusted mechanic who informed us that the last person to change the oil cross-threaded the oil plug into the oil pan and likely hammered it up in there the rest of the way stripping the threads. $600 later - we had to replace the oil pan and plug due to the shoddy work done by the service department. I bought these vehicles on July 16. Still have unresolved issues, still getting the run around, and still costing me money. The dealer says they do inspections on vehicles before they are listed for sale on the lot, but that is hard to believe based on the numerous issues we have had with not one, but two vehicles purchased the same day. I highly recommend that you pay the $100 for an independent inspection on any car you buy there and that you consider taking your vehicle somewhere else for service. Schomp, you have a good brand and I feel that you price your vehicles right and don't charge a bunch of junk fees - but your reputation is on the line when this is the type of poor service your provide. We buy vehicles frequently and you could have had a customer for life with us - but if you are going to put vehicles on your lot that are in disrepair and/or poor condition, and if your service department/reconditioning department is going to exacerbate problems and issues with shoddy repairs, you will continue to lose customers and cause irreparable damage to your brand and reputation. I am an extremely dissatisfied customer. And your salesman is embarrassed for you. Shame shame. More

Will not price match or beat I went through a broker for a new Honda CR-V Touring. The broker was good - but Schomp - wouldn't honor competitors pricing. They state they give you the best service - but no they don't.. I would select any other Honda Dealership - JUST NOT SCHOMP! The Sales Manager as well as the Service Manager would not honor the deal..............we were talking $500.00. Cheap idiots. Will never give them any service again. More
