What started out beautiful, in the end I felt betrayed!! I have to begin by saying how much I enjoyed working with Jose Reyes. His outgoing friendliness, enthusiasm, excellent knowledge of the vehicle and ab I have to begin by saying how much I enjoyed working with Jose Reyes. His outgoing friendliness, enthusiasm, excellent knowledge of the vehicle and absolutely unending patience (for a customer that took 4 months to finally make the leap). Never once did I ever feel any sales pressure, just answered my questions & even answered questions before I knew I had them. He was awesome!! The entire time I was thankful, & couldn't have been happier than to have been paired up with Jose. The day of the 2nd test drive, still enjoying the comfort of working with Jose, we decided it was time to make the plunge but told Jose we needed about 10 days to get the money part worked out. He said that was fine, he had 4 CRV's in the color & model we wanted so no worries, however if I wanted that particular one I could put down a $500 deposit. I really liked that one because it only had 14 miles on it before our test drive, the others had 4 or 5 times that mileage meaning most likely 10 or more different parties test drove them, pushing all the buttons & switches (by the way, what ever happened to demonstrators??) which made it seem more like a new car than a used car. Jose said it would be parked in a back lot till we were ready for it since I put down the deposit. The exciting delivery day came, again with my friend Jose efficiently getting us through all the paper work. After the papers were signed & all finished up, the car was pulled in for our final review (with Hannah, who was excellent) & I suddenly realized that was not the vehicle I put a deposit on. It had 76 miles & dirt on 2 seats (which Jose took care of). I had memorized the last 3 digits of my car which was 894, checked this one & it was 836!! I was stunned. All the paper work was done & signed for this one, not my car. I didn't even know what to think or how to process that. I mentioned it to Jose & he said he could give that one for $100 less (& he knew I was a penny pincher), but shouldn't I have been a part of that decision???? I went ahead & brought it home (which probably was my biggest mistake) only to find myself boiling over all weekend, not enjoying my new car. Who had my car? Was there a more important customer than me that demanded one with fewer miles? Did an employee want mine & it was figured I'd never know the difference so substitute another one? What is the definition of deposit, anyway? In my book it means you're putting faith in me to buy a particular item & I'm putting faith in you to hold that particular item, & if for any reason that item needs to be substituted, I should be notified & given opportunity to opt out. Is this a normal practice of Schomp Automotive? Jose called me 2 days later & I told him of my disappointment. He said a Schomp manager would call me, a call I'm still waiting for after 2 1/2 weeks!! I can't tell you how deep my disappointment goes. As a 2nd time new car buyer from Schomp, I was SO pleased with my 1st experience, I never shopped or even considered another dealership. And I can't tell you how many people I shared that with over the years!! I wish nothing ill for Jose, I hope he has a long & successful career at Schomp, I really do. He is so good at what he does for you overall, he is a real asset, and in my heart, I still like him a lot. My departing feeling of Schomp is their integrity needs some major tweaking!! Ignoring and/or not honoring a deposit is nothing short of a broken promise. BIG TIME. Thanks for letting me rant!! Don Olson More

This is the first time my wife and I have ever bought a brand new car, and they made the experience perfect. My parent's have been Schomp repeat customers for almost 40 years, and now I know why. The price for our Honda was a little more expensive than 2 other dealers, but I would rather pay a little bit more for the no B.S. they provide and the great service. It's well worth not having that headache. Also, the new Honda Schomp facility is roomy, state of the art, and has a great atmosphere about it. Thanks everyone!!!!!! Especially John. Jarred greeted my promptly and understood the issues I was here for. I relaxed in the lounge with some popcorn and a nice beverage and enjoyed the wifi. Even one of the janitors was sweet and closed a blind for me to get the sun out of my eyes. Jarred came over to me to let me know everything was fixed and my car would be ready once they washed it for me. He checked me out right in my comfy chair. They couldn't figure out why my door would get stuck and kept sending me home with no hope that it would ever be fixed. I also had other issues with a schomp oil lube on Belleview who spilled oil all over my car which in turn dumped oil all over my driveway. Frustrated, I walked into Schomp and asked to speak to a service advisor to speak my frustrations. I was greeted by Byron and Shaun Lewis. These guys from the start were very apologetic and helpful and wanted things to be right. I am happy to say my door is now fixed and the oil is cleaned up. They were very professional and renewed my loyalty for Schomp Honda. Thank you to these guys for finally making things right and helping a very frustrated odyssey owner out. More

By the time the vehicle was ready to take a look at, Dan was on his day off and when we called we talked to Javier Diaz-Montoya who gladly accommodated us. Javier was excellent in covering all the details of the 2015 Honda Accord and even let me take it for a test drive which I was able to cover the features with my wife. We then met with Javier to discuss what needed to be done to set this 2015 Accord for us and wow he was great! The next day Dan King was able to close the deal with us and he was also great in making the complex purchase process very easy. We had purchased a new Honda Accord from Ralph Schomp many years ago when the purchase process was not as cumbersome as today and Dan being very knowledgeable covered all material with ease. My wife and I were very impressed with the team work spirit which Dan and Javier displayed in accommodating our buying process. Thank you Ralph Schomp for having an excellent Sales Staff! More
