I Had my 2006 Ford Freestyle in for an oil change, during the service the technician checked over my vechile and noticed my tires were in bad shape. Bob contacted me and gave me some choices on tires and explained the difference between the tires and how price can be a foctor in performace and wear on the tires. Naturally I thought they were just trying to get me to spend too much for tires. So, I did some research and found that Mike Naughton's price was not only the lowest but also the least amount of pressure to buy. When I contacted Bob back he also told me that if I could find the same tires cheeper that Ford is doing a price match guarantee. I purchased the tires from Bob and hehad my car done same day. When I went to pick up my car Bob took the time to go over all my paperwork on the tires and the warranty. When it came time to pay I also found that my oil change was cheeper than I had been paying at the lube shop right by my house. Mike Naughton Ford and Bob will always have all my business for all my car needs. More

So my friend took his F-250 to these scam artists. His trunk would stall out when shifting from reverse to drive. They replaced the spark plugs, 1 coil, and all the coil boots. They performed an injector trunk would stall out when shifting from reverse to drive. They replaced the spark plugs, 1 coil, and all the coil boots. They performed an injector clean. They charged $100.00 for the check engine light, another $100.00 for the ABS light. The total bill was $1000.00. I am a master tech, and I went down with my friend to pick is truck up. When I asked to see the old parts, they looked almost brand new. When we asked why they were replaced the manager said "that's how we operate here". We drove away and the truck did the exact same thing it did before we took it in. I researched to problem, and determined that the most likley cause for the symptom was a pcm that needed to be updated. After several arguments. We took the truck back. I asked the manager Blain if it was standard practice to test drive the vehicles they were fixing to confirm the complaint and then after the repair to confirm the fix. He replied "that may be how you do things at your shop but i'm not gonna send every one of my techs on a test drive". I said not even after they spend $1000.00. He replied "only if the customer requests it". I said okay well can at least update the pcm for my friend. He said "that's not the problem because it's automaticly done when they hook up the scanner". Oh yeah and when asked what codes they pulled they were unable to furnish me with that info. It was not written on the RO. So $200.00 in code pulling which autozone will do for free and they can't give me the codes. They keep the truck for another day and a half before they decide to take my advice and update the pcm. They don't even offer a loaner or rental for the inconvience or the $1000.00 spent on maintenance items which were done less then a year prior to the truck at another dealer. We get the truck back after the pcm update and the complaint is fixed. It's obvious to me that Big Mike Naughton Ford IS ALL ABOUT RIPPING PEOPLE OFF at least under Blain's control it is. Maybe that's why you don't see their commercials anymore. I would let a bum on the street work on my car before I would take it to Big Mike Naughton. More
Do NOT ever take your Ford to them for Service. I have a 2001 Ford F250 Super Duty and took it to them to diagnose, that's all. The truck was running pretty rough, and I knew something was wrong. However, 2001 Ford F250 Super Duty and took it to them to diagnose, that's all. The truck was running pretty rough, and I knew something was wrong. However, it was running well enough that I put over 1000 miles on it the two weeks prior to that, a lot of it highway miles. I have never ever had a problem starting it. I took it to Dan Gotta, explained to him that I want a diagnostic on the engine and to check the front end alignment and a few other things. So I get a call back from Dan a day later, and he tells me my Cam is busted and I need a new engine at a price of $5000. Thinking these guys are out of their mind, I go pickup my truck, and lo and behold, it wont run AT ALL. I cannot start it at all. They offer to help me push it to the parking lot. I inquire with the Master Technician Mike to see what he did to it, and he says it cannot be fixed, it needs a new engine. As he walks away, he makes me an offer to BUY my truck from me! Can you believe this crap? I ask Dan, who watched me drive it in with no problems, and then drove it to the back service station, what happened to my truck? He says, "Budy, I told you, you need a new engine! You barely drove it in here!" This is unbelievable to me! I have a non-drivable truck sitting in my driveway because I took it to Mike Naughton Ford to get it DIAGNOSED! DO NOT EVER TAKE YOUR FORD TO MIKE NAUGHTON SERVICE CENTERS! They are rip off artists!! Surprising excellence service. Much better than the service I got at my Honda dealer. Only downside is that the service is very expensive--but all dealer service is expensive. I have been taking my service I got at my Honda dealer. Only downside is that the service is very expensive--but all dealer service is expensive. I have been taking my vehicles to them for service work and warranty work for years. No bad experiences. And their service department is open on Saturdays!! And the service is especially quick on Saturdays--very few people bring in their vehicles on Saturday for some reason. Warranty service is done quickly and without argument. I had to have the headlights of my Mustang replaced three times. And this dealership had no problem . The three replacements were caused by fogging of the headlight assembly--nothing to do with the dealership workmenship. I brought my used Focus into them and they treated me like a bought the car from them new. I was very impressed. The service order writers get your original complaint down with accuracy on the order and will keep you informed/ of what is happening with your vehicle after you dropped it off. More
