Not Happy, bought a car took it to mechanic to replace tires found out that has a screw in the gas tank, and no catalytic converters, attempted to return within 3 business days they said you bought a car tires found out that has a screw in the gas tank, and no catalytic converters, attempted to return within 3 business days they said you bought a car as is, my contract does not say as is, I also pointed out that there is oil leaks on the engine and according to the Illinois State law any defects in the drive train must be fixed if found within 15 days or 500 miles which ever comes first. They said to bad lawyer up. I can honestly say I would never recommend this Car Dealer for anything. Bill was the manager that I attempted to return the car to. Worst car experience ever, documentation and the Illinois law means nothing to them. To bad, get a lawyer and have a nice day. Watch out they do not inspect there trade in cars just clean them and sell them without making sure they are in reasonable condition. It doesn't matter if it's a $3000 car to a $20000 car you can not sell a used car without catalytic converters and a screw plugging a hole in the gas tank that starting leaking the next day. This is what everyone warns you about shady dishonest used car dealer! More

A subsequent phone call revealed that you always perform this inspection for free and that it was nothing to worry about at this point since it was on the rear wheel. If you’re going to perform this “service” you should explain it to the customer. More
