I made an appointment with my Vito Pannerale my favorite service technician. When I arrived got the appointment Viti informed me that our Honda Pilot was eligible for a recall and the work would take 4 to service technician. I told Vito I did not have that kind of time to wait and without me asking made a loaner car available so the recall could be completed. I bought a 2023 Pilot EXL from them in March 2023. However, I wasn't happy with the price of the extended warranty, so I decided to cancel it a few weeks after the purchase. Initially, I had a hard ti However, I wasn't happy with the price of the extended warranty, so I decided to cancel it a few weeks after the purchase. Initially, I had a hard time contacting them for the cancellation, so I expressed my dissatisfaction in the survey sent by Honda. After a few minutes, the General Manager called and assisted me with the cancellation process. The GM referred me to a website to cancel the extended warranty, and on the same day, I filled out the necessary forms. However, after waiting for more than 60 days, I hadn't received any notice of the funds being released to the lien holder. I contacted the extended warranty provider, and they informed me that my warranty was still active, indicating that the dealership hadn't submitted any cancellation request. Frustrated, I decided to email the GM, hoping to expedite the refund process. He promptly responded and assured me that he would look into the matter. However, despite waiting for 6 days, I didn't receive any further communication from him. I followed up with another email requesting an update, but unfortunately, my email was left unanswered . This lack of response made me feel neglected and unsupported by the dealership. Update 6/16: I heard back from the GM and assured me that they will take appropriate action and will expedite the process of the refund. Update 7/14: After almost a month of waiting, the GM has once again been unresponsive when I asked for a follow-up. During our last conversation, he mentioned that he would expedite the refund process for the extended warranty. However, since the GM is unresponsive, I took the initiative to contact the Extended Warranty provider, who informed me that there was no request from this dealership to cancel the extended warranty. Cancelling this extended warranty has been incredibly frustrating with this dealership. They give you false hopes and, after doing business with them, they seem to disappear when it comes to post-sales support. I initially contacted them about this cancellation back in April 2023, and as of July 14,2023 , there has been no progress. In the past, I have gone through this process with a different dealership, and it did not take nearly as long. It is important for potential buyers to be cautious and aware of these issues. More
