Let me introduce myself. I am Paul Seiden and I am the Service Manager for Schaumburg Honda Automobiles. I've taken the liberty to review the original work order and I'd like to address your concerns. Your 2010 Pilot is set up with a Maintenance Minder System which indicates which maintenance is due at specific period of time not mileage-with the exception of the differential fluid. At the time of your service visit your Maintenance Minder indicted a "B" a "1" and a "6". The letters and numbers indicate different maintenance items at different costs. Your estimate at the time of write up was B-$99.95 1-$24.90 and 6-$99.95-and it appears you authorized an oil change and a rear differential service (6). The tire rotation (1) and the B service were noted on the invoice for future service. I apologize if there was any discussion regarding your warranty and not changing your differential fluid. I have retrained this advisor due to your comments and concerns and would never want a customer to feel pressured into performing maintenance. I'd prefer to handle your remaining service visits personally to avoid any confusion,answer any questions as to what maintenance needs to be done,why it needs to be done and how much it costs. I'd appreciate if you'd consider our Service Department again, and I will do whatever it takes to earn back your business.
