We are new snowbirds to Florida and wanted to get a convertible sports car to keep down here and be able to enjoy the great sunny weather. The Crossfire at Scanlon was found on Cars.com but had no detailed information on it but I wanted to see the car anyway. When we stopped at Scanlon, we were greeted by Ray Matthews who showed us the inventory of cars that they had that met our criteria. The Crossfire that was on the website was not yet being shown because it had not yet gone through the service department or had been detailed for showing. Ray still let us look at the car and sit in it and review the various features. We could not drive it because it had yet to be checked for any possible safety defects. Ray was very professional and helpful as we tried to decide if this was the vehicle for us. He helped us write a sales agreement that was contingent on our approval once we could drive the vehicle. Ray was very attentive to our questions and talked both to me and to my wife even though this was a car for me. What a great Christmas gift from my wife. We have nothing, but great feedback on our experience with Scanlon and Ray Matthews. We have been looking for a good used car for several weeks and spent time in about 6 or 7 large well known local dealerships. We were surprised at their large inventory. All the while, Ray was extremely pleasant and professional--a real gentleman. On pickup day , Denise who we were referred to see originally, was very friendly and thorough, she clearly explained all the cars books and features. It was reassuring that it was important from both that they shared the sale- this discussion made it clear they were more concerned with us, as the customer over credit for sales. The final stage of purchase with Susan and the contract was equally informative and friendly. she made sure all options and forms were clearly explained. This was my first experience with Scanlon, but this level of service and customer focus will lead me to return and refer to others. More
