We just bought a 2012 Buick Enclave from Dan DiPrimo at Jim Salerno. Our whole experience at Jim Salerno was very positive. We went in to the dealership knowing exactly what we wanted, as we had visited Jim Salerno. Our whole experience at Jim Salerno was very positive. We went in to the dealership knowing exactly what we wanted, as we had visited other dealerships and already test drove the car. I explained to Dan what we wanted and, instead of playing games, he came back with a strong offer, which was better than the offers from the other dealers we visited. Dan was very pleasant and he told us to think about the offer and get back to him since he was confident in his offer without being pushy. When we decided to go with Jim Salerno based on our comfort level with the staff, particularly Dan, and pricing, an issue arose when they could not get the exact vehicle we wanted (Dan had explained to us in advance that there were only 1 or 2 of the exact vehicles we wanted left in the area and they would do their best to get one of them for us). However, Dan and Jim Salerno were good to their word and got us a vehicle that we were even happier with while matching the original price offer. We also had a positive experience with Jonathan Weiner, who took the time to explain things and answer questions at the closing, and Joe Bourdon, who helped resolve the aforementioned issue. I would definitely recommend Jim Salerno and, in particular, Dan DiPrimo. More

We intended to buy a new vehicle. Our sales representative, Don, was very pleasant and professional. He was very clear on our intent and presented the vehicle we were interested in (actually h representative, Don, was very pleasant and professional. He presented an inaccurate representation of a medical condition my partner suffers from and tried to convince us that any other vehicle would be far worse. Although he himself may suffer from the condition, his analysis of what the condition is caused by and how it is treated is either based on a very limited, single case view or he does not know what he is talking about and is lying to try and get customers from examining the market to ensure that the GMC product is truly the best choice for their needs. Because of Joe, we will never purchase from Jim Salerno. Joe, make sure you know fully what you are talking about. More
I had visited multiple other GMC dealers but none of them were very friendly or had the car I wanted until Jim Salerno. The moment I walked in the door I was greeted by John Dreyer who was friendly, straigh were very friendly or had the car I wanted until Jim Salerno. The moment I walked in the door I was greeted by John Dreyer who was friendly, straight forward and very knowledgable. He allowed my family (2 young children and wife) to take a test drive and helped me install the child seats. The price for our GMC Acadia was very fair however I believe the trade-in value I received for my other car was a bit low. I was able to test drive the car, set the price and complete the paperwork in about two hours and make it home for nap time. Everyone at Salerno GMC was very helpful and courteous. Since the purchase John has followed up many times. This was a great car buying experience. More
As a first time GMC buyer Jim Salerno GMC/Buick was the right choice. George Gregory was my salesman, he was a pleasure to deal with very attentive to my requirements and issues. At first, I had extremely high hopes for this dealership. They were attentive and responsive. After the deal they provided me was higher than other dealers had given me, the salesman wanted to have him Gener They were attentive and responsive. The next morning, the General Manager called me with the deal of a lifetime. I provided them with my credit card as a deposit and received a confirmation email. The email showed the monthly payment to be $100 higher than I was quoted and agreed to. I immediately called the dealership and they said it was a mistake and a miscommunication, even though I confirmed the price 4 times on the phone. I demanded my credit card deposit be returned. I was told they could not return it until the next day. 5 Days later and I still haven't received my deposit back. I emailed the dealership and was told that they "forgot" and they "got busy." As you can imagine, I was furious with this response. Needless to say I requested to speak with the owner who conveniently was unavailable. The dealership made NO efforts to right this wrong. I have filed a complaint with GMC. More
