Working with Tom at Savvy Wheels was the easiest car buying experience I've had. I was very upset when a car I loved was totaled in a car accident and I was give only a short time with a rental to find buying experience I've had. I was very upset when a car I loved was totaled in a car accident and I was give only a short time with a rental to find a replacement. I knew I wanted a Subaru, so I contacted Tom who was extremely knowledgeable about the two models I was considering. He kept an eye out for me at the auctions, and got me exactly what I needed. I have since added over 30,000 miles to the car I purchased and it has only needed basic maintenance. I have referred friends to Tom, and they have all enjoyed working with him and are also satisfied with their purchases. More
I was disappointed to read the previous review. Tom was very kind and worked with me to help me get the car I wanted. His schedule is flexible and he is accommodating to the buyer's needs. When the car o very kind and worked with me to help me get the car I wanted. His schedule is flexible and he is accommodating to the buyer's needs. When the car overheated a few days after I bought it, Tom took time from his family vacation to arrange for the car to be repaired (at his expense). I haven't had any trouble with the car since. It only needed a new fan. I enjoyed the experience of buying from Tom and found him very knowledgeable, friendly and professional. I am thoroughly enjoying the car I bought and Tom continues to be accessible and helpful. More
I went there 8 months pregnant to find a reliable car for my family. I found a Subaru which was said to me at time of purchased that it was bought at an auction in MD, I looked over the car fax which they p my family. I found a Subaru which was said to me at time of purchased that it was bought at an auction in MD, I looked over the car fax which they privided and the car looked good. (Although it was told to me it was a none smokers car which was a big deal to me.....when I got it home I found a cig butt in center console) besides that I was happy with the car. After our son was born we realized the car was to small for us and wanted to up size.....which we should be able to do......well when we took it to a local dealer ship they ran an AUTO CHECK on the car (which is what the auctions use as well) and it came up unibody and frame damage!!!!! They did a paint test on it for us and the right side had been replaced and some of the mechanics as well. When they showed us the Auto Check it said that this was announced at auction. So the car was sold to us knowing it had been wrecked ....so we were unable to trade it because any honest dealer that see's unibody or frame damage knows they will lose money trying to sell it.....unless you don't say anything!!!! So we then went back to them and told them about the car and we wanted to be refunded for the car after two weeks of being bullsh**ed around they made an offer of 6,800.....I paid 10,000 for the car and only put 1,000 miles on it. He wanted to make all these term and conditions for buying back a car he sold us that had been wrecked....swearing he didn't know it had been wrecked. ANY dealer with honesty would cut there loses and make it right not them....!! Don't get screwed by "Salvage Wheels" More
