The service I received from Mike and the service technicians was exceptional. The parts that needed to be ordered came in quickly and the job was done promptly. I was given a loaner and informed that most of the work was covered under extended warranty and rewards. I appreciate that they had all of the necessary information readily available to them so I was not asked to guess what coverage I had or didn't have and that I was always treated with courtesy and respect. A few weeks ago, I called Sarat to make an appointment to have some things fixed under the Bumper to Bumper warranty. I talked to Nancy, and we made an appointment to have the car dropped off Wednesday night have some things fixed under the Bumper to Bumper warranty. I talked to Nancy, and we made an appointment to have the car dropped off Wednesday night, that way they could drive the car after it had been sitting, and been cold, to confirm the transmission issues. I agreed, and dropped the car off Wednesday night. I then took Thursday off of work, and stayed at a nearby friends house Thursday to wait for the car. Nancy never called me on Thursday, so I called twice, once at noon, and again at 7, one hour before they close. Both times, Nancy told me the car was in the shop, and they were looking at the vehicle. I told her I needed the car by the end of the day, so she said they would put everything back together, and come pick me up to get the car. When I got back to the dealership, and getting my car, I noticed that my car had the exact same mileage as when I dropped it off, down to the tenth of the mile. A few days later, I called back, and spoke to Pete in service, as Nancy was no longer employed at Sarat. Pete told me that Nancy never assigned a technician to work on my vehicle, and it sat outside all day without anyone touching it. As you can imagine, I was pretty upset that this happened. I could understand if it was a "work-in" type appointment, where they would get to it if they had the time, but this was not the case. Plus, she directly lied to me, when she said the car was in the bay being worked on, once when I called at noon, and again at 7. That clearly wasn't the case. Based on THIS experience, I would not recommend the service department to anyone. However, when I returned to have the work actually done, Pete got me a loaner car, and made the process pretty easy. This made me optimistic about returning for service work. However, when asking Pete about getting new brake pads put on the car, he told me it would be around $500. Ford is running a national promotion, pads installed for $99.95 per axle, so that would total around $200 before tax for front and rear brake pads installed. I'm not sure where the other $300 is coming from? I called Balise Ford in Wilbraham after speaking with Pete about the brake pads, and Balise told me $200 before taxes. That sounds more on par with the national Ford specials being run at this time. More

Walk in-No greeting, no "Hello, how can I help you?," just "I need your registration." I didn't have my registration because I didn't have my car because I someone had brought me there to see if t you?," just "I need your registration." So: "Sit over there, and I'll get to you when I'm through here." Really? Maybe you should Google "other Ford agencies within a 10 minute drive that would love to have your customers." I have always had great service when I 've brought my car in to be serviced. The staff has been courtious and answered all questions. The work has always been done in a timely manner. There is not much more to say. It is known by the entire Sarat staff and owners of Sarat Ford/Lincoln that Balise Ford in Wilbraham can be seen from our condo but we choose to drive the 18 miles to Sarat be Sarat staff and owners of Sarat Ford/Lincoln that Balise Ford in Wilbraham can be seen from our condo but we choose to drive the 18 miles to Sarat because of the great relationship and friendly service personal. My first experience was with John Sarat when I purchased a 1963 Galaxie 500. It was many years later that I reestablished a relationship again with the Sarat Family Respect and trust is not given. It is earned. Sarat Ford/Lincoln has earned my respect and trust!!!!!! More
I continue to come to Sarat Ford Lincoln because the Service Deparment is Excellent. Nancy and/or Pete always get me in whenever I call. Not only are they both very friendly, but they always remember me and my vehicles. Being that I also work in a service industry, I find their Customer Service Exceptional. With both Nancy and Pete working the desk and with the mechanics and technicians working behind the scenes to perform either routine maintenance or to resolve an issue with either of my Ford vehicles, I wouldn't take my vehicles anywhere else. Your dealership consistently shows that 'Quality is Job 1'. More
