I own a 2012 Ford Escape. I went to ago and inquired about having someone there instruct me about how to use my Sync System. I purSarasota ford to have my oil changed a few weekschaed my car at Autoway Ford in Bradenton, but I salesman "Bobby" at Sarasota said he would be glad to help me and I set up an appt with him for today at 9 am. When I showed up,a salesman, Andy, saw me getting out of my car and asked if I was there to see Bobby and I replied yes and he said he was not there and he was filling in for him. So he walked over to my car and as soon as he saw the "autoway" sticker he was rude and said they do not help with cars purchased elsewhere but he would see what he could do. He got in my car and turned a dial on my radio console and was doing something with my phone and my contacts and was very impatient and told me he works on comission and was not getting paid for this and he gave me very little to no instruction and kept looking at his watch and out the window and after 10 min said "just play around with it" and said he had to go. I was way too polite to this man who was very rude and intimidating to me. Tonight my husband called Sarasota Ford and spoke to a manager, Edwin and tried to explain the above to him. He interruped my husband twice and said they don't get paid to help other Ford customers.. he was so rude to my husband as well. Had my oil changed a few weeks ago there, wish I had check the oil to see if it was brown and dirty afterwards after reading several other reviews today of this terrible dealership. DO NOT GO HERE.. Go to Autoway Ford in Bradenton and see Pernell. You will get a great price and great customer service. I live in Sarasota and they could not even come close to what Autoway offered us in price for my car. I WILL NEVER STEP FOOT in Sarasota Ford again. Do yourself a favor and stay away from these rude, selfish people. More
My salesman Terry Myers was an excellent salesman. He did not pressure me into purchasing anything, he let me make my own mind up. He arranged for me to have a one on one with Bobby Watrous to go over my SYN not pressure me into purchasing anything, he let me make my own mind up. He arranged for me to have a one on one with Bobby Watrous to go over my SYNC. When he replaced my scratched window, he had my car picked up at my work and fixed and brought it back. I will highly recommend Sarasota Ford. I am very, very pleased. V-Patino More
I went to sarasota ford for warranty work, had my injector replaced and door key pad replaced and in doing so they found a wire broken and milked a hundred bucks out of me to put a simple wire crimp injector replaced and door key pad replaced and in doing so they found a wire broken and milked a hundred bucks out of me to put a simple wire crimp on, got my truck back and realized as i was cleaning it, that ford broke my door panel and failed to tell me about it, took it back and they replaced it no problem. Later on this same week my catalytic converter went bad and luckily that was under warranty BUT!!!!!! They again milked 77 dollars out of me just to pull the three bolts that hold my starter on so they can get to the bolts on the header. They also had to pull my dash out to fix my a/c which still doesn't work right and i bring it home and to my surprise, find the plastic put back half xxx and a rubber piece in my grill looked like they ripped it out and decided to lay it back in there hoping i wont catch it. So if you like being nickel and dimed take it to sarasota ford as for me Im calling Matthew currie and hope they do better work!!!!!!!!!!! Good luck and god bless More

Went in for an oil change and everyone was very kind and welcoming. Service was fast and done well. I bought my car here so I will continue to come back for the service on it. Very disgusted with the lack of honesty, integrity and customer service! When I was there I was treated very poorly, I was looking to trade in the last SUV I purchased from them(another bad experience)b customer service! When I was there I was treated very poorly, I was looking to trade in the last SUV I purchased from them(another bad experience)but I recognize the fact that they have a high turnover of employees and was going to give it another chance. I walked onto the lot and told the sales rep that I was interested in an F150 or a Ford Edge and he tells me "what you really need is to get yourself in a fuel efficient "car"... I was surprised, told him that gas wasn't an issue, that I was used to paying high gas prices and I went around looking at what they had in trucks and he came back(with a manager) wanting to show me a sedan.. I went to Matthew Currie two days later and they were very accommodating, professional and listened to me then provided what turned out to be the best experience I have ever had purchasing a vehicle. I am still having to deal with Sarasota Ford about my warranty cancellation and unfortunately they have made it very difficult for me to even get a straight answer on the dollar amount that I would be refunded. The finance manager Ed Bailey lied to my face and told me that no one at the dealership has access to the information regarding warranty cancellation! After I left I called and asked for the GM and whoever I spoke to didn't give his name or apologize and didn't seem to care either, finally they transferred me back to a different finance person who said they would handle it right away. The cancellation form did not get presented for processing until two weeks later.. I got this information not from Sarasota Ford but by calling the other dealership and contacting the Warranty company. It has taken me over a month to get feedback. More
Well I bought my first new car, a 2011 Mustang GT premium. I bought this car 3 months ago and decided I should pass on my positive experience. Negotiations were simple and a good deal was on the table so I bought it. Yes, I'm a haggler always looking for the best deal and they came through without difficulty. I've also bought a used car from them about 8 years ago, so this is my second buying experience from Sarasota Ford. I have had minor warranty work needed and my service rep at the dealership took care of business and got me back to enjoying my new Mustang. More
This dealership is a joke. I usually deal with Brandon Ford and will never stray from them after this experience. I called about a price I saw on the internet - there were 4 of the same cars with that pri Ford and will never stray from them after this experience. I called about a price I saw on the internet - there were 4 of the same cars with that price. I was scheduled for a test drive at 6 and showed up early. Mysteriously, two of the cars that I'd driven an hour to see were now gone after only 2 hours since my call had gone by. And the ones that were left were SHOCKER the more expensive ones. I was never dishonest about my price range yet for some reason they were misled. We get into the dealing room and they come back with a price $4K HIGHER than the internet price. When I asked why I was told...and I quote... "If we put the actual price out there do you think we'd get any phone calls?" HAHA...so you false advertise to waste people's time and let them think they are getting a better deal when its actually far worse. Don't deal with them, go to another Ford dealership and be treated with respect. More
