The "finance guy" we talked to after we decided to buy the car, is an old school, high pressure salesman. He needs to learn when to shut up and let the customers mull over and discuss with each to buy the car, is an old school, high pressure salesman. He needs to learn when to shut up and let the customers mull over and discuss with each other the different options (maintenance agreement, tire/wheel ins., lost key ins., etc.) instead of stepping up the pressure, almost making us feel like idiots for even questioning whether or not to add additional insurance charges to the contract, on which we will pay interest for several years. This wasn't our "first rodeo". I am 58 and my husband is 63. This guy came very close to causing me to say "Screw it" and walk out. We have been looking for a car we could afford for our son for quite some time and this car was a good buy, so I clenched my teeth and finished the paperwork. BTW: We already found out the tire/wheel ins. is bogus. Presented as "Any problem with a tire or wheel that is damaged, this will take care of it. WRONG Our son struck a sign when he turned into a driveway. Among the damage was a broken wheel and flat tire. We called about the tire ins. and guess what - it only pays if our collision insurance ins. doesn't. That was left out in the sales pitch. Oh well... One last comment: Dave Isaac does a nice job. He knows how to relate to customers, was honest about his knowledge of the condition of the car, gave us the facts and let us have time to decide and most important: didn't have us stuck there for six hours with haggling over the price. We would happily buy a car from Dave Isaac again. The finance guy may know his stuff but he needs to lighten up. Today's customers don't like being told what to do. We were looking for a new car to replace our 2005 Buick Lesabre with a a Buick LaCrosse. We contacted our friend Don Britt, who referred us to Jerry Willcut. Jerry showed us a variety of LaCrosses. He was patient and very thorough in describing the vehicles equipment, it was easy for us to make a selection. Rich Konold explained the intricasees of the Onstar System. Rich talked us through the Onstar features and functions and simplified the use of the the system. We have already put it to good use. Our sales consultant, Rich Konold, greeted us warmly, offered us refreshments, and answered all questions about the Savanna Van we were interested in. The deal , including our trade in was much better than we expected. When we picked up our van later in the week, all problems we noted were corrected, and van was clean, polished and ready to go. Rich took us on a tour of the dealership and introduced us to some of their service personnel. My wife and I were very impressed with how we were treated and will definately return to Rich and Sapaugh for future vehicle puchases. It was well worth our while to make the 50 mile trip from St. Charles. Thanks again for everything! More
As soon as I got on the lot, someone came up to help me find a car. When I told the dealer what car I was considering, I was taken straight to the selection and the dealer was able to tell me everything ab find a car. At the time, I was waiting on insurance to total out my car and the dealer worked around it. He called me to check up on everything and when I was able to go get the car, he went out of his way to accomadate me and help me with any and all issues that came up. This dealer was very customer friendly and I would recommend him to anyone!!! More
