It gives you better bargaining power when negotiating the final price. Once you and the dealer can arrive at a price both can live with they stand behind their product and promises. I had a (reduced power to engine) error on my 2010 Terrain. I called Dave Sinclair (as i bought it through them) and they never got back to me. Earlier in the year i had taken my Terrain to Sapaugh fo Terrain. I called Dave Sinclair (as i bought it through them) and they never got back to me. Earlier in the year i had taken my Terrain to Sapaugh for an oil change and thought it was a pleasant experience. I thought id take my chances again and see if they could help me with my issue. I have to say from the moment i walked in i felt like everything was going to be ok. Fortunately for me the issue was covered by warranty. Even if it wasnt, my experience here has made me a 100% loyal customer. On one visit. I am in the customer service industry and i must say what they do here really is awesome. When my service consultant Art Speth called to let me know my terrain was ready for pickup, he also told me the fuel light came on, so maybe expect a gas stop on my way home. Wow, i bet 99% of places out there dont put that level of service into their customers. Sure thats a little thing, but to me thats that little extra i dont get anywhere else. More

I called this dealership this afternoon to inquire about the availability of a car I was interested in. I unfortunately did not write down the man's name I spoke to, but we were on the phone for quite a wh the availability of a car I was interested in. I unfortunately did not write down the man's name I spoke to, but we were on the phone for quite a while. He assured be the vehicle was indeed available, and we spent time discussing financing, and the quality of the car. I left the man my name and number. Shortly afterward, I left my house and drove over an hour to this dealership, with every intention of purchasing this vehicle. I brought the title to the car I was trading in, and my pre-approvement for financing paperwork, and fully expected to drive home in a new SUV. Imagine my surprise when I pull into the lot and see my car with a SOLD sign in the window. I was furious. I was even more furious to discover that the car had sold days ago. So here I am, pre approved, ready to buy, and they couldn't offer me anything comparable for a decent price. I would never do business with such a dishonest place. Either that salesman was too lazy to get off his chair and actually check to see if the car was available, or he knew it was sold and just wanted to get me out there. What a waste of my time. I will be taking my business elsewhere. More
