I've been an on-line buyer for years. I'm not afraid to purchase and ship from anywhere as long as I feel I can trust the seller. I'm sure these folks mean well, but I recently purchased I'm not afraid to purchase and ship from anywhere as long as I feel I can trust the seller. I'm sure these folks mean well, but I recently purchased a Mercedes 550SL from them and things didn't go well. One of the most egregious things was that they apparently charge all used car buyers $395 for a ridiculous pulsating brake light bulb! I wouldn't have the guts to rip off customers like that!!! The bottom line is that they are not equipped to sell higher-end cars. It became clear that their service department was "in the weeds" about the most basic maintenance items on the car. My questions took a long time to get answered and even then, they were vague. I could go on but you get the point. I was told everything checked out and was fine. Took delivery on the car and the starting battery died the second day. The service department apparently didn't know the car had two batteries. Other oversights became abundantly clear. Bottom line: The salesman was professional. I could tell, rightfully so, that he felt uncomfortable that the service department was inexperienced with the car. If you are buying on-line and can't get to see the car, stick with a Chevrolet from this dealership. More
This was my first time buying a car through a dealership and Kevin made it as easy as he could. He explained everything thoroughly in an easy way I could understand. I've been trying to buy a Cadillac from Sapaugh since May of this year. At first I wasn't sure which model I wanted. So I drove a couple of different ones. I could tell my salesman, Rick Gerber really didn't of this year. At first I wasn't sure which model I wanted. So I drove a couple of different ones. I could tell my salesman, Rick Gerber really didn't seem to be in to spending a lot of time with me so I actually went to many different dealerships and drove their Cadillacs as well Just to get a better idea of what I was looking for. But I wanted to buy from Sapaugh because they are local and I live nearby. I finally narrowed it down to a used CT5 with a V6 as my target vehicle. Rick told me they didn't come in a 6. I had to tell him he was wrong because I already found some. So then he says, well they are rare and Sapaugh doesn't get them very often. A couple of weeks later, Sapaugh got one in but of course Rick didn't call me. I was watching their website and found it myself. I called him and went in to drive it late on a Wednesday evening. I called him on Thursday and told him that was the car I wanted and if they could make the numbers work, I would buy it. I already knew my credit was not a problem. Rick told me to come in on Saturday and we would work the numbers. I went in on Saturday with my Jeep all cleaned out and my title and extra key in my purse. Rick handed me a credit app, I filled it out, they ran it and he came back with a sheet of paper with a generic rate and payment written on it and hands it to me. The payment was like $1100 and the rate was 10.99%! Rick told me that that was just what they put in their to give me a basic idea. He said my credit score was great and I was approved for everything. So I was like ok... Rick was more interested in going home early than he was in selling a car that day. The showroom was dead and he told me they would close early for the day if business didn't pick up. Rick told me to go home and contact my bank to see what rate they would give me and get back to him. I didn't do that already because he told me not to in the beginning and said they would run it at my bank anyway. Needless to say, I found a used CT5V at Nissan down the street the following Wednesday. They bent over backwards to get me the payment I wanted and got me down to 5.78% on the rate. I even called Rick Thursday morning to see if he wanted to try to beat their deal because I actually liked Sapaugh's car better. I wasn't really looking for a V. I went to Sapaugh on Friday to look at numbers before going to Nissan and signing papers. I had to work with Jim because Rick was busy. In the middle of the deal Nissan called me back with an even better deal. I told Jim I was just going to Nissan because I still felt like I was throwing my business at Sapaugh and they were throwing it back at me! Jim told me to hold on and called Rick. Rick thought Jim was kidding when he said I was going back to Nissan. Jim put me on the phone with Rick and I told Rick that Nissan came back with better numbers on a more expensive car a year older even. Rick got irate and told me I had wasted enough of his time and hung up on me! Rick was not professional throughout this whole experience and kept acting like he was too busy for me every time I was in. My son even tried talking to him about ordering a 2026 CT5-6 in another month and Rick told him that Sapaugh probably wouldn't be able to get an allocation for it because they only get so many! He didn't even want to look in to it. My son is now in the process of ordering his V through Elco. Sapaugh lost out on 2 Cadillac sales thanks to their unprofessional saleman! More
Logan met us in the parking lot and was very friendly and eager to help us. After talking with him he showed us several vehicles and took us to see the Trailbazer that we ended up purchasing. Steve Ermer was my salesman and he has done an excellent job. I've been very satisfied so far. The finance office also did a great job they didn't try and talk me into additional things I didn't want. Overa job. I've been very satisfied so far.
