Twice have had an awful experience with Santa Monica Jeep, Chrysler, Dodge. 1- Came in for them to fix a door/window part and they never ordered requested in warranty part for repair. 2- Tried to Jeep, Chrysler, Dodge. 1- Came in for them to fix a door/window part and they never ordered requested in warranty part for repair. 2- Tried to setup emergency Service with this dealership as factory recall on brake pedal. which can lead to brake catastrophic brake problem. they did not want to have car in to be serviced there. made it clear they did not want to take the car in. Had to setup an appt at farther dealership. They do not want to work on Dodge Hornets even if they are the dealer locally. have a jeep also. A dealership ought not pick and choose what cars they work on. especially when it is an emergency recall on brake pedals. Only offering me a time to come in a month later to deter my service call. which i was able to get in next day at another farther away dealership More

I took my Grand Cherokee Jeep to Santa Monica Chrysler to have them check, what I thought was my sluggish air conditioning, breaks, rear shocks, a few other things + an oil change. They called later and said have them check, what I thought was my sluggish air conditioning, breaks, rear shocks, a few other things + an oil change. They called later and said the job would be a total of about $5000. Told them I needed a 2nd opinion paid an outrageous $265 for the diagnostic and $175 for the oil change. Although I felt totally ripped off, I honored my initial authorization and paid it. I then took my car to to an AAA approved, reputable mechanic who did the entire job for $1459, including a new diagnostic. I had assumed SM Chrysler Jeep was AAA certified but I found out after … they are not. I learned a sad $440 lesson. More

I towed my 2020 Charger Hellcat Widebody in about a month ago, the car died on the freeway while driving. I was assigned to the service tech Meesh aka Misu M, I explained to him what had happen prior to the car dying on the highway. He proceeds to email me saying they speculate the car was improperly jumped causing a fuse to blow. I told Misu the car was NEVER jumped not by me, not by the tow guy, no one jumped the car. He proceeds to tell me email after email phone call after phone call the car was improperly jumped by someone even if it wasn't me. Regardless it didn't matter because this dealership kept my car for over a month just to tell me they are understaffed and can't figure out the problem with the car. They also told me their supervisor took a look at the car and he couldn't figure it out. I finally had enough of dealing with Misu as im not about to argue with someone who clearly knows nothing about the very cars he claims to work on. I've owned 4 hellcats, 2 Trackhawks and a Ram TRX I know these platforms inside and out and I would never try to jump any vehicle that dies while driving thats far from normal. Today I had the vehicle towed from this dealership to a shop called Full Blown Performance, within 4 hours of the car being dropped off I get a call your car is ready to go.....this is literally insane. So you tell me Misu and his team of service technicians had the car for a month and couldn't find the problem yet a Performance Hellcat shop found the issue in 4 hours? I wouldn't take a car here to Misu if it was the last shop on the planet. Avoid at all costs...Truly pathetic...the issue had ZERO to due with the car being jumped which it was not. More
I told them I was interested in the car posted on your website as well as theirs. When they contacted me, they said they wouldn’t honor the price advertising and then proceeded to tell me it would be $10, website as well as theirs. When they contacted me, they said they wouldn’t honor the price advertising and then proceeded to tell me it would be $10,000 more. Highly unprofessional. Typical bait and switch. More
They never bothered replying to any of my previous emails. Also, I walked in to the dealership back in early 2019 to look at a Dodge Durango RT. They acted like they were doing me a favor, so I left t emails. Also, I walked in to the dealership back in early 2019 to look at a Dodge Durango RT. They acted like they were doing me a favor, so I left them and went to buy a Volvo XC90 a week later. In general, this dealership will act uninterested in dealing with you. Beats me how they're still in business, or maybe they're just hanging by a thread and being kept afloat by their service department. Let's face it, they still have several 2020 Jeeps in stock. That says a lot..... More
RHETT BUTLER IS THE WORST First let me say I never leave bad reviews. This is incredible rare for me however based on the customer services I received today I felt it was necessary. Hopefully someone higher up reads this. I called the dealership and asked to speak to a manager and was put on the phone with a gentleman named Rhett Butler.... I told him I was interested in coming in to buy a four door Wrangler and do what is known in the industry as a "Lay Down" deal. Meaning minimal negotiating back and forth to keep it clean and simple to save all parties time. The managers tone was grumpy, condescending and aggressive the second he answered the phone... He told me he would need a VIN number of the car I wanted. When I told him I was not sure which one I wanted asked if I could see options he didn't seem interesting in having further dialogue. When I then asked if perhaps it would be better if I spoke to someone else, he said don't bother, I won't sell you a car a hung up the phone up... Funny considering I was ready to pay list price if I was shown options. Incredibly negative individual and a poor reflection of Jeep. Perhaps Rhett was having a bad day however as someone who does sales too, I was shocked by his behavior.... The last thing you want as a dealership is to loose sales based upon employee behavior. More
