I took my car in on 9/6 at 7:30am for 2 rear tire replacement and wheel alignment. I was told that the car can be picked up that day. I inquired a few times but the service advisor did not respond replacement and wheel alignment. I was told that the car can be picked up that day. I inquired a few times but the service advisor did not respond until ~5pm letting me know that there was a backup with wheel alignment machine and that the car will be ready next day. I called a few times on 9/7. Service desk finally answered and said they will call me back with the time when the car will be ready for pick up. I never received a call back and in the meantime, I kept calling the service desk and they would route me to voicemail. I did not have my car for the entire weekend. On 9/9, I called the service multiple times and they did not answer my call. I left a voicemail stating that if the car was not ready, I would show up at 1pm to get a refund for the tires which I had already paid for and take my car back. I received a text at 2pm that my car was ready for pick up. Noone called me back to explain. In addition, I asked another BMW service people as to why I needed new tires when my car had only 12,000 miles as the Santa Monica BMW told me that I needed to replace the tires during my oil change. They told me that I did not and the tires could last over 50,000 miles and that I have been scammed. I was also told that Santa Monica BMW has scammed many other customers and they have stopped bringing their car for service. I was trying to loyal as I purchased my car at that dealership. I will be writing letters to executives at BMW North America with complaints about the dealership as I have many high level contacts within the organization. More
