Mazda CX 5 After months of deliberation over selling my 2003 Subaru for a 2016 Mazda CX5, I was won-over by Mel and Joel's customer service and professionalism. After months of deliberation over selling my 2003 Subaru for a 2016 Mazda CX5, I was won-over by Mel and Joel's customer service and professionalism. Mel's knowledge of the Mazda line was excellent and he addressed each question I had with his keen intuition of my skepticism. Both Joel and Mel took the extra time to allow me to test drive several models before settling on the CX 5 during my initial visit to the dealership. After several hours I decided to go home and do some research before committing to the sale. I never felt pressured or impinged upon and I returned the next day and purchased the 2016 CX 5. Thank you for your service! Kim Allen, RN More

I had purchased a previous vehicle from them in the past and got screwed on that deal and it took them 9 months after the sale to finally get all of the paperwork right. I decided to give them another shot and got screwed on that deal and it took them 9 months after the sale to finally get all of the paperwork right. I decided to give them another shot to try to get out from under the other vehicle. As I walked into the dealership I was greeted by Ernesto who I had explained my previous experience with and who assured me that the company had done some house cleaning and gotten rid of all employees that were not customer oriented. I expressed interest in a certain vehicle and I also explained my need to be done pretty quick as I had a two and a half hour drive home still. He seemed to want to help and we began the process. He showed me a couple of vehicles that could suit my needs and we began the paperwork. I was kept waiting in the dealership for about four hours and kept receiving the familiar brush off "We're working on it, we just need 15 more minutes". Apparently 15 minutes takes a lot longer in the dealership than it does anywhere else in the world. I was delayed and delayed until closing time when they finally told me there was nothing they could do, sorry. So I left to conquer my drive home. This afternoon, thirty minutes before my two children's nap time, Ernesto calls and tells me that they got it worked out and have the payments where I want them, come pick up my new car. I explained to Ernesto that I have a three-year-old and a six-month-old that would have to come with and that I didn't want to be wasting my time. He assured me that it was all ready to go, I just needed to come down and sign the papers. So we begin the long process of getting the kids ready to be on the road for a total of five hours and a couple hours doing paperwork. After the kids are all dressed, packed, bundled up and ready to head out to the car Ernesto calls back to tell me "Don't leave yet, we forgot that you were going to be trading in a car, we need 15 or 20 minutes to make sure all that paperwork is ready. Unbundle the children and have them wait to see what we're going to do, now thirty minutes past their nap time. 15 minutes pass, 30 minutes pass, 45 minutes pass and I call and speak with the sales manager who tells me that they are going to have to wait until tomorrow to call the bank because they don't have everything ready yet. I explain my frustration with them because I had explained my situation and was assured they are ready to deal. The sales manager then tells me that if that's the way I'm going to be then it's probably best if we didn't do business. It is painfully obvious that there is no respect or value given to the customer's time. I would highly recommend you take your business elsewhere and stay away from this place. More
This is the first time I have ever had the pleasure of finding and buying a vehicle that the salesperson Randall O'Leary did not pressure me into buying or trying to sell me something that I did not want! finding and buying a vehicle that the salesperson Randall O'Leary did not pressure me into buying or trying to sell me something that I did not want! He was 100% perfect and explaining options and being available for me to get a honest and real answer! I have been to many dealers in the past they bombard me with pressure to BUY NOW!!! I hate it!!! I was first afraid of going to a new dealer and not knowing who would be biting at my ankle for a sell! When Randall approached me It was inviting not at all stressing. He said "welcome to Mazda Volvo How can I help you? With a smile and hand shake to go with it! I knew right away to feel comfortable with him and what he is going to show me was a vehicle that I wanted, and you know what? He listened to me through the whole process! Thanks Randall You will forever be my Sales Guy! I highly give this dealership and My Salesperson Randall a Perfect score!!! More
We were in the market for a used miata with automatic shift. Leonard found one for us, brought it in, put on new tires and a new battery. We test drove it on Saturday of Memorial Day weekend and wante shift. Leonard found one for us, brought it in, put on new tires and a new battery. We test drove it on Saturday of Memorial Day weekend and wanted the car. Andrew was leaving town with his family for the weekend, so he turned us over to a colleague named Johnny. We gave Johnny a credit card to put down a down payment. It was getting late, and we had to make a dinner engagement. Johnny gave us back the credit card and said "Come back tomorrow morning (Sunday) at 11 am. That will give me time to do all the paper work. Don't worry. THE CAR IS YOURS. The following morning at 10:30 am as we were on the way in to the show room we got a call on our cell from the sales manager on duty (his name may have been Randal), saying he sold the car that morning to a woman who walked in the door at 10:00 am, opening time. No apologies. No regrets. He said he had 18 salesmen to take care of and the car was sold. We were shocked, hurt, and couldn't believe how we were mistreated. A verbal contract was broken, and we felt violated by this unethical treatment. Paper work when buying a car cannot be completed in a half hour. What we think really happened is that someone on staff saw the car, liked it, and wanted it for a member of his family or for a personal friend. We urge anyone who is thinking of doing business with Santa Fe Mazda Volvo to consider a short drive to any dealership in Albuquerque. More
My experience with Santa Fe Volvo has been nothing short of a "NIGTMARE". I purchased a used vehicle and the following day I discovered that the navigation system did not work. I immediately called the sal of a "NIGTMARE". I purchased a used vehicle and the following day I discovered that the navigation system did not work. I immediately called the sales person I had orginally dealt with. I was only able to leave a voice message. After several failed attempts I began working with his supervisor. I told the sales manager the same thing I told the sales person - If the navigation system did not work I was not interested in purchasing the vehicle. I was told that a disc would be ordered to see if that would correct the problem and if it didn't we'd go from there. Three weeks later still no disc. When I called to verify if the disc had been ordered, I again told the sales manager that should the disc not correct the problem and the navigation system failed to work I would be returning the vehicle. The sales manager told me he was tried of trying to make me happy. He again told me he would order disc. It appears that once you have signed the documents this dealership is DONE with you. I would not recommend this dealership. More
I have been treated like family at Santa Fe Mazda Volvo. Mel Bray helped my mother, who had just flown out from Indiana, and I find the perfect car for me two days before Christmas. My mother and I were in Mel Bray helped my mother, who had just flown out from Indiana, and I find the perfect car for me two days before Christmas. My mother and I were in a state of desperation, and Mel and the others at the dealership helped make the whole experience painless. Mel even drove my new car up to me, and met me in my little mountain town of Taos where I was stranded. I have stayed in contact with Mel, and he and Alex Cecil have continued to take such good care of me. I would recommend this dealership to anyone, even poor young girls and their mothers. More
