I brought my car in for a 60,00 miles service even though I only have 23,00 miles on it but it has been 5+ years since I bought it. Nobody questioned me about the service (read: treated me like I was crazy) I only have 23,00 miles on it but it has been 5+ years since I bought it. The drivers were great and got me to and from work on time. The car is in great shape, everything checked out and Brent went over the bill with me and pointed out anything that might need service sooner rather than later. I was impressed with the service. I had been having a problem with back lights. The symbol on the dash would go on and off. This made it difficult to know which light was out. The first time I came and talked about what was going on I was g on the dash would go on and off. This made it difficult to know which light was out. The first time I came and talked about what was going on I was given an appointment. When I came in the symbol was out. Scott who was my salesman when I brought the car was outside when I pulled up. We talked about the light problem. He went in and talked with service and it was decided that the next time the symbol came on to leave the car running and check all lights. I was in town when it happened again so I drove to your service department. I told Eric what was happening and he had the service department fix the problem immediatly. I didn't have to return with a appointment. I would have made a appointment but Eric just made sure it was done now. I had 2 lights out. Eric and Scott did a great job taking care of my situation. Written two e mails with each having one question to Internet Manager Scott Davis. Never received a reply to answer ether question/email but a email introducing himself and to call him direct to sit up Internet Manager Scott Davis. So I called and got Scotts voice mail and left a message to call me in which he did return my call quickly. Talking to him, I had asked him the same questions I had written him about. One question was "what is the size of the tires on car" He didnt know and seemed a bit like he was going out of way when I ask if he could check. He said he would check and call me back. Just a few min. later Scott called back with the size. I explained to him why the size of tires were important to me plus along with mentioning a few other things but his lack of responce made me feel like he was not interested at all.So I moved on in asking a few more things about the car in which he answered. I then asked him how close to $3000.00 could he come in the price of the car(They were asking $3995.00, more then highest retail sales value according to KBB). He responded in a awkward tone and said that they are already at $3995.00 (96 buick custom with 95000 miles). He said he would talk with his boss and return my call. Next day comes and still no reply. Called several times to only receive his voice mail in which I ask him to call back. Still no reply so I called the sales manager Jim in which I was asked to hold for him only to get his voice mail. Jim called back about 45 mins. later and I explained that I had dealt with Scott but have not received a responce and asked if he had the time to help me in which he said sure. He asked what car we were talking about and I told him and asked about the price they were asking for the car in which his reply was "Heres Scott", so Scott got on the phone and said he was sorry for not getting back with me. We started talking about the price of the car and he said that his boss said they can not reduced the price of the car. I explained to him that the asking price is even higher than "Excellant Value" pricing on KBB. His responce was that he knows but these kind of cars sale and they just have no room to deal in this car...........To me this is an example of, its not about the customer but about the money and if you dont want to shell out full asking price for a car that dosnt meet the value rating on KBB than your not worth returning a call to. I understand business is business and all are in it for a profit as should be but to be bold enough to take advantage of someone who is willing to pay more than the cars worth is POOR Business Practice.
