My husband and I went in to Honda to look into buying a car. I am so HAPPY we did. We had the greatest experience. I would like to thank Frank, Hector and Regina for the amazing service. I do not trust the service department at this dealership. When we first moved to California, I asked them to do the service my car was due for and they did a major service that was not needed. A few months When we first moved to California, I asked them to do the service my car was due for and they did a major service that was not needed. A few months later when I came in for a service, they did the exact same major service. When I complained, they gave me a full refund on the second service. If you go here, just know that you have to watch them like a hawk or they may try to rip you off. More

Worst Customer Service Kirby is an excellent, caring salesman. That is the only positive comment I can make regarding SB Honda. Customer service is the worst. Worst Car Dealership I have ever been to This was the most frustrating,disappointing experience I have ever had at a car dealership and that is saying a lot since I am over 50! I took my car in for routine service and when I picked it up every light on the dashboard was on and I was told I needed a 1400.00 repair, there were no lights on when I took the car in. They refused to take responsiblity and repair whatever they had done to the car. I was treated like an idiot and all of the staff I came into contact with were downright unpleasant. I was shocked at such treatment from a Honda dealer! More

He did an outstanding job I just had the second "Major Service" done on my 2008 Honda Pilot. The service was managed by Service Advisor Jim Wolcman. He did an outstanding job getting everything done just right. He is great to work with, helped me pick up my car, got the right mechanic working on it and kept me informed. He knows what to recommend and how to save money on service. Thanks to Jim, my Pilot with 280,000 miles is running like new. I highly recommend that you ask for Jim when taking your car in to Santa Barbara Honda. Mike O. More

They also came up to the price I needed for my old car. I ended up selling it on my own, but was very impressed with how hard they worked to get me into this car. Baylee the sales guy was great, very low keyed and knowledgeable, what he didn't know, he found out. Greg the Sales manager was awesome. He pulled all the right strings to make it happen and even threw in a couple goodies at the end.... We were very appreciative and impressed. All in all, a great experience. Why anyone would go outside Santa Barbara to by a Honda and not support the local Dealership is nutty. No reason for it that I can see.... More
False Information re Warranty and Repair I called the service dept. after our '05 Civic Hybrid was found to have a failing hybrid battery -- a very expensive item which by law is now war I called the service dept. after our '05 Civic Hybrid was found to have a failing hybrid battery -- a very expensive item which by law is now warranted for 11 years. The service rep. immediately said he believed it was not still covered. After I told him I already knew it was (from Honda of America), he said he'd check into it, and later did agree it was covered. While the car was getting the battery replacement, they decided to do a "Multi-Point Inspection." The written results stated that all fluids needed replacement ("Major Service" - $381.); also that a front brake job ($225) was immediately needed. I refused the work, and later checked the alleged deficiencies. None of them were true, and the front brake pads have plenty of thickness left. The battery replacement itself does appear to be satisfactory. More
Not true to their word! We made a deal on Thursday with one salesman for the trade in of our truck for a used kia. Trade in value was done sight unseen and oxidation to paint on door was mentioned to the salesman. He said it was not problem-easy fix. When we returned over the weekend as discussed our salesman was not there like he said he would be and once they saw the truck they wanted us to pay an extra $2000 on the deal. They were deceitful, lied to us, and wasted our time! No deal was made! More
