We agreed on a price with the owner Carlos Santisteban, we spend a great amount of time with a wonderful sales person Delio Pena who took the car to our mechanic because car was in an accident. Also it was taken to Mercedes dealership to fix some minor issues. We provided our sales person with a credit card for deposit. The owner Carlos Santisteban turned out to be a crook and a coward who sold our car to another person without notifying us while we were waiting for a phone call as to when to pick up our car. Meanwhile we sold our car because we were certain that we have the car. We want to make sure that any potential buyers are aware that the owner Carlos Santisteban participates in extremely unethical Bussiness practice and does not show any concern about his customers. Unfortunately the sales person Delio Pena was not given any respect or consideration either by such a crooked boss. Worst car experience of our lives. STAY AWAY! More
Old school shady used car dealership Purchased a vehicle through ebay from Sanfer Sports Cars. Sanfer advertises in Auto Trader but refers you to ebay for the buying process. Being in C Purchased a vehicle through ebay from Sanfer Sports Cars. Sanfer advertises in Auto Trader but refers you to ebay for the buying process. Being in CA, I couldn't inspect the car prior to buying, but I did have the vehicle inspected at Pembroke Pines Mercedes (Carlos of Sanfer suggested them). The Mercedes dealer and Sanfer both failed to disclose that the vehicle had been previously damaged and the body repaired, with noticeable shortcuts taken in the repair (I am not in the industry and would consider myself a laymen, but the flaws and repairs are obvious to me). Sanfer refuses to take responsibility for failing to disclose prior damage and sub-par repairs. I was asked to call Carlos' son, who is the attorney for Sanfer, and he explained that Florida is a "what you see is what you get" state, meaning that Sanfer can knowingly sell damaged and poorly repaired vehicles to the unsuspecting public and not face legal repercussions for not disclosing issues that decrease the value of the vehicle. Sanfer Sports Cars appears to be one of those old school shady used car dealerships that sells problem cars to its unsuspecting customers. More
