Service appt made, told at dealership it has to wait We made an online appointment for service for my wife's car on Saturday. It was accepted and we received a confirmation number. Drove an hour from DeF We made an online appointment for service for my wife's car on Saturday. It was accepted and we received a confirmation number. Drove an hour from DeFuniak Springs, only to be told that all they do on Saturdays is oil changes. This should be advertised as such on their website. He didn't know anything of our appointment made through the website. He told us we could leave it until Monday, but that wasn't an option as we drove one car over, and she needed it for work. We ended up giving our business to Firestone in Pensacola so it wasn't a total waste. If you don't use the online tool for service appointments, don't offer it. And please advertise that you only do oil changes on Saturdays. Will go elsewhere in the future. More
Truly awful after sales service Easy to be all smiley and sell a car. My golden retriever could do that. I've always said a good car dealer is one who provides great after sales. It Easy to be all smiley and sell a car. My golden retriever could do that. I've always said a good car dealer is one who provides great after sales. It's obvious this one doesn't share my values. I won't be specific as to why I'm writing this but for those who treated my wife so poorly then shame on you. She wasn't going to pursue the issue but I was., and having contacted them and was told she would hear from a rep, that they were deeply concerned about this, well guess what? She never heard from them. And they won't be hearing from us again. We are done with these phonies. Hey SS Chevrolet don't bother emailing/calling. You're fired.. More
the worst experience of my life. To many problems to list. Bought a new traverse from Sandy Sanding. We have had the car in for service then we have used it. We went back three times To many problems to list. Bought a new traverse from Sandy Sanding. We have had the car in for service then we have used it. We went back three times to get an oil change fixed, are car was leaking oil after it was serviced. The last time we took it back they fixed the oil leak by replacing the oil filter. On my wife's way home after the third visit she got a call....they had forgot to put the dip stick back in. An oil change is one of the easiest things to do and yet took three times to get it right and then they forget the dip stick. This is the least minor problem. We have had six more serious situation that took them several times to do fight. Our car, with 17,000 miles on it has been in the shop for 11 days. When my wife stopped by yesterday to get some things out of it, the engine was sitting on the floor next to the car. More
Not clear on the expenses of work My dad took his Nissan truck in to the service department at Sandy Sansing in Pensacola to have it diagnosed for an overheating problem with the radia My dad took his Nissan truck in to the service department at Sandy Sansing in Pensacola to have it diagnosed for an overheating problem with the radiator. He was told that there was a $105.00 diagnostic fee that would be charged and later applied to the work. They worked up an estimate of over $3,000.00 of things that could be done to the truck, some things were about the overheating others just work that was suggested. He decided to take it somewhere else for the work but told them to do an oil change and an allignment to use up the $105.00. We get there to pick up the truck and are now being charged $213.00 for the diagnostic fee and the work. The manager said that it would only apply to the "overheating" problems not the other things on the list that they gave him. I don't feel that this was a fair or clear representation of the "credit". The items were on the estimate so we assumed that they could be used. More

They charged $115 to run a diagnosis and Lenny recommend the repairs and service listed below. She bought the car new and has taken excellent care of it having all recommend maintenance and oil changes done every 3 to 4k miles. Currently, the car has 53k miles and runs great. The car does need brakes and tires which I am taking car for her. Thankfully she did not have any repairs done, but I hope other seniors are not being taken advantage. My grandmother is thinking about purchasing a new vehicle, but not I will recommend not going to SS. I took my 2011 Malibu in due to a noise in the front end. They took the front end apart and told me nothing was wrong with my car I assured them there was so the service tech did a test run with me he then h They took the front end apart and told me nothing was wrong with my car I assured them there was so the service tech did a test run with me he then heard the same thing I heard I asked him what he thought and he said sounds like the strut mount on the left side okay so he said he was gonna take it apart again so I waited for a couple of hours for Lenny to tell me that my strut, the mount, the bearing and bumper shield whatever that is all need to be replaced on the left side so I have the extended warranty and factory warranty he quotes me all this stuff and tells me that the extended warranty will cover parts (strut only) and labor after 100 dollar deductible they had my car for a day I pick my car up and have to pay 475 dollars (didnt seem right )but I paid it then he tells me well you need to watch the right side it looks like it's going bad what the xxxx 44000 miles and the struts are bad I heard nothing on that side as well As the tech that did a test run with me didn't not even two days later my car is making the same noise plus other noises now you would think that if you notice a problem while working on someone's car you would call them to see if they want to repair that as well I feel as if I were screwed to have to pay all that money again instead of them fixing it all at once I wouldn't Be suprised if they didn't replace the parts at all and now the whole car squeaks I called them about this problem and they said we told u the right side was going bad when u picked up the car really and what about the squeaking well u can bring it in and we can look at it I don't want them to do the other side use to I already paid 475 they should.have called me to repair both at the same time I will take my car elsewhere where it is done right the first time and not have to pay an arm and a leg when it is suppose to be covered under warranty Will not recommend them to anybody I know and don't know More
I brought in my 2005 Corvette for a GM Coolant System Flush and Fill. Not sure if it got done correctly as I only have a receipt to prove the endeavor and expense. However, I was also promised a 37 poi Flush and Fill. Not sure if it got done correctly as I only have a receipt to prove the endeavor and expense. However, I was also promised a 37 point or 137 point or whatever Safety Check as a Courtesy and the Service Tech never did perform it. I was told that my Roof Top Panel was defective and that they would have to order a new one under a Factory Recall. The Panel came in a week later and I made an appointment. Showed up and they changed their minds. Told me the Roof Panel was not OEM and therefore I did not qualify for the replacement Roof Panel. WTH? Why would they order a new one in the first place? Also, the second reason for my visit was to have a Front License Plate Holder installed. $92 and 2.5 hours later I am looking at a stick on (3 pieces of sticky pads) piece of plastic that is crooked. Really? My Service Advisor, Lou Ann, was awesome. Professional, Friendly, and very supportive. Bottom line is the Front License Plate holder started to fall off and I called the General Manager after doing an online after service survey. Dave was very helpful and professional and advised me to get a refund. So, I took the Vette back, returned the falling off license plate holder, and left. I will not return to Sandy Sansing Chevrolet again for my 2014 C7 Corvette purchase as I need to be able to depend on professional service technicians to do their job. The Staff was awesome but what's the point if you can't get decent and professional service on your $50,000 luxury performance sports car. My overall sales experience with Pete Moore Chevrolet was awesome but I don't have any service experience so the jury is still out on that one. Hopefully positive as I will not buy a new Chevy if I can't get it professionally serviced. JP More
