I brought my R55 in for a diagnostic and while washing the car, the antenna base was broken. Kudos to the Dealership for standing behind their employee and repairing the damage! The Service Advisor Cathy in the service department is very professional and kind. I always have a great experience interacting with her. First, I appreciate BMW and Sandy Sansing giving me zero consideration on the repairs, my car was 700 miles over the milage warranty but still less than three years. The engine cooling system is apparently a week part of the power system due to plastic parts, and they have known about these failures and do nothing to resolve since 2012–2014-time frame in an effort to meet capricious CAFE standards. German engineering my foot, go back to aluminum, it not that much heavier. Everyone at the dealership was very professional as expected however, I couldn’t get anyone to return my call after 11 attempts over three days. That said this seems to be an issue throughout all service industries. It’s as if society has forgotten how to use a phone and the intended purpose of voicemail. Once I actually got the car in the shop then I had to deal with everything through an app which I find absolutely appalling. I have questions, I can’t question the xxxx app. Once the service advisor was assigned, she was very helpful and responsive, but I was still dealing with the app that I had grown too grew to detest! When you have my new expensive vehicle in your shop, I don’t want deal with a telephone app, I want someone that I can have an interactive conversation with and answer my questions. The entire experience was very annoying and very impersonal. I will not be back for future repairs as I’m sure this automation only increase, and the lack of customer focus and subsequent satisfaction will likely go unknown except, for the surveys if somebody actually reads them. Last they put a dam Sandy Sansing sticker on my car, I do not want any dan stickers on my car and did not give them permission to vandalize my brand-new vehicle with their fricken advertising. I will be bringing it back so they can remove it, now I am wasting more of my time! My family has been buying Chevys from Bob Salter Chevy and later Sandy Sansing sine 1965, I am not feeling the love, James. More
