We appreciate you choosing Sands Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram for your service needs and we are sorry that you are unhappy with your experience. As you know we are concerned about your daughters safety as we have made numerous attempts to follow up with you, and we would like the opportunity to review your brakes with you in person. Each time you have denied our request to review them with you, we even went as far as offering to bring in the Pa State Inspection officer to mediate our decision to fail the vehicle for inspection due to your brake issue. We are certain if you could see them for yourself and understand the state inspection guidelines, you would understand why they do not pass state inspection and are unsafe. We are very concerned that another inspection station did not follow the State Inspection Guidelines and you and others are at risk if an emergency braking situation would occur as the vehicle may not stop in time causing a serious accident. We understand you are unhappy with the result of the inspection, but we informed you of a safety issue with your brakes based on the law and safety to you and others. Our Pa. Licensed State Inspection technician compared the condition of your brakes with the Pa state guidelines and we are confident we followed the state inspection laws properly by failing the brakes for Inspection. I understand you’d prefer not to replace your brakes for inspection and avoid the expense, however this is a safety issue that you should definitely take seriously, don’t wait another year to have them replaced.
