I brought my jeep in for an oil change and inspection… which was fine. Also had a noise issue when driving 50+ mph are more. The noise came in from the engine compartment and sort of loud whistle like hum into the interior. The solution was to buy either part A or part B or maybe both. We don’t know which but the cost is over $2,000 for both. I’m fairly certain no one drove the car to truly evaluate the situation… just when do you want to order the parts. No temporary fix offered as an alternative… maybe if we do AB and C it might help. I may be way off.. I could be totally wrong so no disrespect to anyone and I’ll apologize if it’s not the case but it seemed like a money grab to me as opposed to being thorough… maybe tighten up the seal, put two new screws in …whatever. It was just here are the two parts and when would you like to order them. I understand sometimes things are just broke. I understand organizations need money to survive. What I really wanted was to be a life long customer and I know from my 25 years of business experience, that’s where the real money is. More
