I took my Jeep Liberty here for inspection, emissions and oil change. They proceeded to tell me my front and rear brake rotors where "severely rusted" and the brake pads worn out. That they could not re- oil change. They proceeded to tell me my front and rear brake rotors where "severely rusted" and the brake pads worn out. That they could not re-surface the rotors and I would need new ones all around. Total cost of 925 dollars. I declined the service and took it to a local non-dealership but state certified inspection station to have it re-checked. He told me there was nothing but normal surface rust on the brake rotors that it would not affect performance, brake pad wear, or fail inspection. No new brake pad were required either. Total cost - the price of inspection and sticker only. Will never go back here again for service of any kind. More
My father bought a dodge full size truck in late winter. It Stated on the window sticker that it had air conditioning, and also stated it on the web site and in another place. About a month later he realized that it did not have air witch he payed for. He contacted Sands and there solution was to trade in the truck at depreciated value and get another vehicle with air and never mind the 1500 dollar plow mount that he installed. We even tried suggesting each payin half to have air conditioning installed. If this post actually makes it to the web i'll be blown away. More

Kept the bad taste for dealership that I had. Yes we had a tough situation to work with , but very unhelpful in even trying . We felt very un welcomed . He was new which is 100%fine but a manager should help out a bit with guiding what may be the best options. Top it off they offered 3500.00 LESS then the other dealer we looked at for our trade. I have never had such a wonderful experience buying a car. From the moment I walked into the showroom I was treated like a "friend" and not a number. He was knowledgable about his product and if he was unsure of something he went and found the answer instead of bluffing his way through it. Dennis was great with helping me secure the financing I needed. I left the same day with my car. This dealership and sales reps I would high recommend. I can't say enough about the way I was treated. Our experience at Sands was very good, mainly due to our salesman, Tom Abate. He was a real gentleman when my son and I stopped in on a whim to look at used cars. Tom really listened to what I was looking for and pointed us in the direction of a 2007 Jeep Commander. He took us on the best, most thorough test drive I've probably ever taken and spent a lot of time going over all the components with me. Although he was doing his job as a salesman should, I never felt pressured by him to make a decision and this is exactly why I ended up coming back and purchasing the Jeep in the end. I cannot stand pushy salepeople, so Tom won a lot of points with me and seemed to really want to make the customer happy. I am always a little leery at any dealership, but felt that Sands was a good place to shop for a used car. I was especially pleased that they went the extra mile to fix a few little minor things before we picked up the JEEP for purchase. The car was also extremely well cleaned and detailed when we test drove it which really impressed me, too. I had been to some other dealers to look at used cars and found the vehicles to be a little dirty, but at Sands the two cars I test drove were very clean! Overall, it was a good experience and I would recommend Sands to anyone. My only complaint was the $299 theft insurance that just sort of gets tacked onto your bill. This seems like something you should request, rather than having it show up on the purchase order when you are signing all your paperwork. It caught us off guard and we ended up just signing everything anyway. But it seems like a sneaky hidden charge that should have been optional. If you go to Sands, be sure to ask for Tom Abate. Although he is new to the dealership, he is an experienced salesman and really worked hard to help us get the right vehicle. We are very satisfied. Paige and Bob N. More
