Sanderson Auto Sales responded

This review is not truthful. We gave you a purchase agreement to take to your bank. You gave us a $300 down payment which was clearly identified and properly credited on the purchase agreement. The $300 down payment was subtracted from the purchase price which yielded the "amount due at delivery" which you were to bring to us when your bank funded you. You asked if you could bring us the total price of the vehicle and have the $300 down payment refunded so you could finance the entire amount. We agreed to that; however, you brought us a check that that only covered the remaining balance due, not the entire purchase price, so we could not refund the $300 since you would still owe us $300. If you wanted a refund of the $300 down payment you needed to have your bank give you the entire purchase price of the vehicle in the check they gave you. The exact same purchase agreement was used for you to obtain your check from the bank and signed by you when you picked up the vehicle. To protect your privacy I will not use the real numbers, but here is an example of what happened: Vehicle price $10,000, Down Payment $300, Amount due $9,700. So, if you agree to buy a vehicle for $10,000 and give me $300 one day and $9,700 the next day how did I steal your $300? Had you brought us a check for $10,000 from your bank we then would have refunded your $300. We have been in business for 45 years and have sold over 25,000 vehicles in the same small town. We have never charged any types of fees and have the simplest purchase agreement of any dealership in the nation. It really hurts us to have such a blatant lie posted on multiple sites about this transaction. Please post an image of the vehicle purchase agreement along with your payments made and let the people read this to see the lie you have posted.
